Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has received planning applications from Brice Aggregates Limited for
A. Proposed western extension to the current site using existing approved facilities (site access, plant site, mineral processing plant and other ancillary facilities); including for the diversion of the Burghey Brook; with restoration to arable land using imported inert restoration materials, and on-site materials in advance of the A12 road widening and improvement national infrastructure project. - ESS/36/21/BTE
B. For the continuation of mineral extraction and ancillary use without compliance (for a temporary period ceasing upon the working and restoration of the western extension) with conditions 12 (HGV movements), 25 (mineral handling), 27 (restoration materials importation), and 35b (restrictions on permitted development rights) of planning consent ESS/40/18/BTE that was an earlier variation of conditions under planning consent ESS/10/18/BTE to now enable the importation of as raised sand and gravel from a proposed western extension to the site; the importation of inert materials (for use in the restoration of the proposed western extension); the inclusion of additional water lagoons on site; and a temporary increase in HGV movements to enable accelerated progression of proposed western extension restoration scheme to return the land to formation level in advance of the a12 road widening and improvement national infrastructure project. - ESS/51/21/BTE
Land at: Colemans Farm Quarry, Little Braxted Lane, Rivenhall, Witham, Essex, CM8 3EX The proposed development may not accord with the provision of the development plan in force in the area which the land to which the application relates is situated. Notice of Confirmation of An Order

Highways Act 1980 Public Path Diversion Order 2021 Footpath 1 Earls Colne/Footpath 31 Coggeshall
On 6th May 2021 Essex County Council confirmed the above order made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980.
The effect of the order as confirmed as shown on the order map is to divert a part length of Footpath 1 Earls Colne/31 Coggeshall of unknown width shown by a bold continuous line on the Order Map commencing from a point west of Honeywood Farm running alongside and through an industrial estate and then alongside an access road, to an alternative route 2 meters in width commencing from the same start point and heading west along a track, then north north west through a tree plantation and finally heading north east still within the tree plantation to meet the airfield boundary road. Copies of the order and the order map can be requested to be posted or viewed by emailing publicpathorders@essexhighways.org, quoting the order title. The documents can be made available for inspection 8.30am - 4.30pm Mon-Fri at Essex County Council E block reception, County Hall, Market Road, Chelmsford. Copies of the order and order map have also been sent to Earls Colne and Coggeshall Parish Councils and Braintree District Council.
The alternative route comes into force on 3rd June 2021 and the old route shall be stopped up with effect from 10th June 2021 ,but if a person aggrieved by the order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 20th May 2021 make an application to the High Court.

(Footpath 43, Hatfield Peverel) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 43, Hatfield Peverel in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Crabbs Hill and Church Road, west for a distance of approximately 200 metres.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 24/05/2021 to 24/11/2021 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce, whilst construction of phase one of the new housing development is undertaken.
The alternative route will be via the junction of Crabbs Hill and Church Road, for a distance of approximately 286 metres, north to the junction with, The Street, then west for a distance of approximately 354 metres to the junction of Hatfield Place and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 24/05/2021 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Crossing Road, Witham) (Temporary Introduction of 40mph Speed Limit) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily introduce a 40mph speed restriction that length of Cressing Road, Witham in the District of Braintree, from the point of the current 30mph speed limit north westerly to where the road name changes to Witham Road a distance approximately 181 Om. The restriction is scheduled to commence on 8th June 2021 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2309931A - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. The Order will come into effect on 27th May 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Station Road, White Notley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Station Road, White Notley in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 490m north east of its junction with Vicarage Avenue for a distance of approximately 100m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th June 2021 for 2 nights (23:00-04:30), or where stated on a valid permit (KL735BRA-21 -11-160621 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/ or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while level crossing inspection works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.
An alternative route is available via Station Road, Witham Road, Cressing Road, Braintree Road, Superstore Road, Chipping Hill, Powers Hall End, Flora Road, Faulkbourne Road, The Street, Church Hill and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 27th May 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Avenue Road, Witham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Avenue Road, Witham in the District of Braintree, from its junction with The Avenue to its junction with Newland Street a distance of approximately 450m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1 st June 2021 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2305580 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via The Avenue, Newland Street and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 13th May 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Century Drive, Braintree) (Temporary Introduction of Banned Right Turn) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily introduce a 'No right turn' from Century Drive, Braintree in the District of Braintree into Millennium Way. The restriction is scheduled to commence on 25th May 2021 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2303503 -Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while signs and bollard replacement works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Millennium Way, Chapel Hill roundabout and back down Millennium Way.
The Order came into effect on 13th May 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Codhams Lane, Shalford/Codham Mill Lane, Wethersfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Codhams Lane, Shalford/Codham Mill Lane, Wethersfield in the District of Braintree, from the junction with Braintree Road to the junction with Lones Hole Lane a distance of approximately 420m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1 st June 2021 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SAWC3HD45V001 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while spine cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Braintree Road, Water Lane, Panfield Road, Deanery Hill, Church Lane, Church Street, Bovingdon Road, Beazley End, Codham Mill Lane, Codhams Lane and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 13th May 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
