NOTICE OF MAKING OF PUBLIC PATH EXTINGUISHMENT AND CREATION ORDERS AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDERS HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981
1. The Oxfordshire County Council, Hook Norton Bridleway No 32 (part), Public Path Extinguishment and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order 2021.
2. The Oxfordshire County Council, Hook Norton Bridleway No 38 and Hook Norton Footpath No 39, Public Path Creation and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order 2021.
The Extinguishment Order, made on 17th May 2021 under section 118 of the Highways Act 1980, if confirmed as made, will extinguish part of Hook Norton Br 32 running from north of Swerford Park Farm at OS Grid Ref SP 3631 3140 south-south-eastwards for 75m to SP 3634 3132 and then east-north-eastwards and then north-eastwards for 295m to SP 3662 3139 as shown on the Order plan. The Creation Order made on 17th May 2021 under section 26 of the Highways Act 1980, if confirmed as made, will create a public bridleway running from Hook Norton Br No 32 at OS Grid Ref SP 3631 3140 south eastwards for 41 m to SP 3635 3138, east-north-eastwards and then east-south-eastwards for 106m to SP 3645 3138 then east-northeastwards for 149m to SP 3660 3140 and south eastwards for approximately 20m to SP 3662 3139 where it re-joins existing bridleway as shown on the Order plan. The Creation Order will also create a public footpath running from the new bridleway at OS Grid Ref SP 3645 3138 south-south-eastwards and then south-eastwards for approximately 30m and then turning generally east-north-eastwards and then north-eastwards for approximately 160m to SP 3662 3139 where it re-joins existing bridleway as shown on the Order plan.

Any representations about or objections to the Orders may be sent in writing to the Principal Officer, Oxfordshire County Council, Countryside Records, County Hall, New Road, Oxford 0X1 1ND not later than 18th June 2021. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Oxfordshire County Council may confirm the Orders as unopposed Orders. If the Orders are sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Orders.
