NOTICE OF MAKING OF ORDER PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 The Oxfordshire County Council, Wroxton Footpath No. 9 and North Newington Footpath No.7 (part), Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order 2021. The Order, made on 17th May 2021, if confirmed as made will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by diverting 52m of Wroxton Fp No. 9 running from the public road at Wroxton Mill (OS Grid Ref SP 3974 4048), south-south eastwards to the North Newington Parish boundary at SP 3976 4043 and its continuation for a further 10m as North Newington Fp 7 to SP 39768 40423 to a new line running south-eastwards from the public road at OS Grid Ref SP 39701 40454 for 10m to the Shutford Parish boundary at SP 39709 40448, which continues south-eastwards for 65m in Shutford Parish to SP 39763 40419, then north-eastwards over a footbridge for 5m to the North Newington Parish boundary at SP 39766 40422 and which continues further north-eastwards in North Newington Parish for 3m to SP 39768 40424 where it re-joins the existing length of North Newington Fp 7 as shown on the Order map.

Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to the Principal Officer, Oxfordshire County Council, Countryside Records, County Hall, New Road, Oxford 0X11ND at
not later than 18th June 2021. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Oxfordshire County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
