WIGAN COUNCIL Alma Street, Leigh - Wigan
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Wigan Borough Council, in exercise of its powers under Section 1 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004, has made the Wigan Borough (Decriminalisation of Parking) (Leigh Roads) (Traffic Regulation Consolidation) Order 2004 (Amendment No. 130) Order 2021 which will come into operation on 31st May 2021.
The effect of the Order will be to introduce no waiting at any time on:
- Alma Street, Leigh (Both Sides) from its junction with Westleigh Lane to its cul-de-sac end.

The effect of the Order will be to introduce a loading bay on:
- Alma Street, Leigh (Both Sides) from its junction with Westleigh Lane to its cul-de-sac end, Monday to Friday 8am - 9:30am and 2:30pm - 4pm.

Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained therein on the ground -
(a) that it is not within the powers of Section 1 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984; or the Traffic Management Act 2004 or

(b) that any requirement of the said Section 1, or of Part III of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or of any regulations made under the said Part III of Schedule 9 or of any requirement of the 2004 Act, has not been complied with, may within six weeks of 12th May 2021 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
