ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
(as Amended) - SECTION 14(1) THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF ST. HELENS (LANCOTS LANE. ST HELENS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2021
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 7th day of May, 2021, the St. Helens Borough Council made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as Amended), the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit a vehicle to proceed in either direction along Lancots Lane from Sutton Road for 50m, as and when directed by road traffic signs on-site.
The Order will come into force on Monday 31 st May 2021, and will have a maximum duration of eighteen months, but will terminate on completion of the works, which Is expected to be two weeks.
The reason for making this Order Is to facilitate electricity and gas connections for a new housing development.
