Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Wheatley, Church Road Prohibition of Through Traffic
Date of Order: 1 June 2021
Coming into force: 9 June 2021
This Order is being introduced because of electric cabling work which is anticipated to be completed on 29 June 2021. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in that part of Church Road between properties 31 and 68b and access to the footpath leading to Church Road from St Mary's Close will also be closed. Exemptions are included for emergency vehicles, the Works and for access to property. The alternative route for traffic is via London Road & Holloway Road and vice versa. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref T8828/RAG)

South Stoke, Woodcote Road
Prohibition of Through Traffic
Date of Order: 17 May 2021
Coming into force: 24 May 2021
This Order is being introduced because of Thames Water excavation work which is anticipated to take 2 weeks to be completed. The effect of the order is to temporarily prohibit vehicles using the section of Woodcote Road east of Wallingford Road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via a combination of Wallingford Road (B4009) - Springhall Road - Icknield Road - Woodcote Road and vice-versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref.T8737/MR)
