BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Fagnall Lane, Winchmore Hill in the Parish of Penn CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Fagnall Lane for approximately 90m. Alternative route: Fagnall Lane, The Common, Coleshill Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Affinity Water new connection works take place commencing on 18 May 2021 between 08:00 and 18:00. Road will be closed for the duration of the works. The proposed Order will come into operation on 18 May 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Marsham Lane, Gerrards Cross in the Parish of Gerrards Cross CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Marsham Lane for the entire length. Alternative route: Oak End Way, Lower Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst sewer cleaning works take place commencing on 14 May 2021 between 09:30 and 15:30. The proposed Order will come into operation on 14 May 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council intends to make The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Bridleway No. 64, High Wycombe) (Temporary Bridleway Closure) Order 2021 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in Public Bridleway No. 64, High Wycombe, between the junctions of HWU/67/1 and HWU/156/1 for 80 metres. The closure is required whilst works to upgrade a section of the bridleway take place commencing on 24 May 2021 for 6 months. The alternative route will be signed on site. The proposed Order will come into operation on 24 May 2021, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.

Parking Review of the Areas Around Places of Natural Beauty & Country Parks
Transport for Bucks have been commissioned to undertake a review of parking and waiting restrictions in the areas around or near Black Park County Park, Burnham Beeches/ Farnham Common, Denham County Park, Dorney, Wendover Woods, Great Brickhill Village, Langley Park County Park (including George Green), Medmenham, Pitstone Quarry and Stockgrove Country Park.
Informal consultation is now being carried out and the proposed restrictions have taken into consideration issues raised by councillors and the public.

Alternative route: Skirmett Road, Fingest Lane, Frieth Road, Chalkpit Lane, Oxford Road, West Street, Henley Road, Harleyford and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach new customer connection works take place commencing on 23 May 2021 between 08:00 and 15:30. The proposed Order will come into operation on 23 May 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The closure is required whilst Thames Water Service pipe repair works take place commencing on 24 May 2021 between 08:00 and 16:00. Access to be maintained. The proposed Order will come into operation on 24 May 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (Horsleys Green Road, Horsleys Green in the Parish of Stokenchurch CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Horsleys Green Road from junction of A40 for approximately 370m. Alternative route: Bigmore Lane, Marlow Road, Stokenchurch Road, Bolter End Lane, Piddington Lane, Chipps Hill, Wycombe Road, Old Dashwood Hill and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Instalcom on behalf of SSE HV cable installation from Wycombe Road junction to Bigmore Lane works take place commencing on 1 June 2021 between 07:00 and 17:00. This will be completed in 100m lengths at a time. Road will be closed for the duration of the works. The proposed Order will come into operation on 1 June 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration

The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (The Vale, Hawridge in the Parish of Cholesbury-cum-St. Leonards CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in The Vale for approximately 100m. Alternative route: Wiggington Road, Cholesbury Lane, Hog Lane, Chesham Road, Ashley Green Road, Nashleigh Hill, Vale Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach access to overhead cabling works take place commencing on 27 May 2021 between 09:30 and 15:30. The proposed Order will come into operation on 27 May 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

Alternative route: Hawks Hill, Kiln Lane, Harvest Hill and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Cadent Gas new connection works take place commencing on 15 June 2021 between 08:00 and 18:00. Road will be closed for the duration of the works. The proposed Order will come into operation on 15 June 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
