Notice of Making of Orders Highways Act 1980 Public Path Diversion Orders 2021 In the District of Maldon Footpath 10 Mundon
The above order, made on 28 April 2021 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert a part length of Footpath 10 Mundon of varying widths (2 metres, 1.5 metres and an unspecified width) shown by a bold continuous line on the order map commencing from a point where It connects to Footpath 5 on the farm track at the western end of the pond running In a generally north easterly then north north westerly and finally north easterly direction around the pond continuing along the farm track and around the farm buildings for a total distance of 1,421 metres to a point where it connects to Footpath 2 on the seawall, to an alternative route 2 metres In width shown by a bold broken line on the order map commencing at a point where it connects to Footpath 5 located 18 metres south of the aforementioned start point running in an east north easterly then south easterly then east north easterly direction along the farm track at the field edge around the southern side of the pond for a distance of 525 metres to a point at the foot of the sea wall then running in a generally southerly then generally easterly direction for a final distance of 40 metres along the leeward side of the seawall and up a slope to a point where it joins the seawall and Footpath 2.
Footpaths 22,31 and 35 Tillingham
The above order, made on 28 April 2021, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, as shown on the order map will divert:
i) part lengths of Footpaths 31 and 22 commencing from a point north of Teal Croft, Marsh Road CM0 7SL at grid ret: 60093,20293 at the access track bend, proceeding generally south eastward across the field then through the property gardens and adjacent to the dwelling to the edge of the adjoining field, where it continues generally south eastward across the crop field to its junction with Grange Road west of the wind turbine, to an alternative route commencing from the aforementioned point north of Teal Croft, proceeding at the field edge on the south side of the hedge in an eastward then southward direction passing west of the farmhouse dwelling to connect with Grange Road approximately 100 metres east of the original aforementioned junction.
ii) part lengths of Footpaths 22 and 31 commencing from a point at the field edge corner junction with Footpath 37 Tillingham south west of Teal Croft at grid reference 60086,20262, proceeding eastward across the crop field to the far side adjacent to the young hedge and farmhouse garden, to an alternative route commencing from a point approximately 70 metres north of the aforementioned original junction on Footpath 37, proceeding in an eastward direction at the field edge on the southern side of the hedge to connect with the diverted part of Footpath 31 at the field edge north of the farmhouse dwelling.
iii) A part length of Footpath 31 commencing from a point at the south west corner of the farmhouse dwelling at grid ref: 60138,20263 proceeding south eastward over the parking area and across the crop field to the metalled farm track adjacent to the Howe Farm buildings, to an alternative route commencing from the comer of the small copse approximately 50 metres south of the original aforementioned point, proceeding eastward at the field edge on the northern side of the copse to the junction with the metalled farm track adjacent to the Howe Farm dwelling.
iv) The entire length of Footpath 35 commencing from a point at its junction with Footpath 31 north of the wind turbine CM0 7UR at grid ref: 60152,20246 proceeding eastward across the crop field to the field edge where it continues generally east south-eastward on the south side of the hedge and ditch to reach its junction with Footpath 36 Tillingham on the seawall south of Howe Outfall Sluice, to an alternative route commencing from the metalled track and junction with Footpath 31 adjacent to the Howe Farm buildings, proceeding initially north on the track then continuing generally eastward on the elevated grass bank to connect with Footpath 36 Tillingham on the top of the seawall at the Howe Outfall Sluice.

and have also been sent to Maldon District Council and the relevant Parish Council.
Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent in writing to Andrew Rrtchings, Definitive Map Service, Essex County Council, Seax House, 2nd Floor, Victoria Road South, Chelmsford CM1 1QH no later than 11 June 2021. Please state the grounds on which they are made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Essex County Council may confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent together with the order. Any such representations or objections will be taken into account by the Council with the result that they may be made available to the public under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985.
(Footpath 4, Burnham-on-Crouch) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close footpath 4, Bumham-on-Crouch in the District of Maldon, where footpath 4 meets Regatta Road, south-eastwards for a distance of approximately 45 metres until it reaches the edge of Burnham Ramblers Football Club. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12/05/2021 to 12/11/2021 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while construction of Phase 2, (plots 186-191) are completed and the necessary upgrade of footpath 4 is undertaken.
The alternative route will be via footpath 4 and Regatta Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 12/05/2021 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
