APPLICATION FOR A SEX ESTABLISHMENT LICENCE

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT Southampton Clubs LTD of/ whose registered office is situate at 36 Alie Street, London, E18DA made an application to the Reading Borough Council for the grant of a licence for a sex establishment at First Floor, 108 Friar Street, Reading, RG1 1EP on the 21st April 2021
2. This application is made pursuant to Section 2 and Schedule 3 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982.
3. Any person who wishes to object to the grant/renewal/transfer of this licence must give notice in writing to the Council, stating in general terms the grounds of his objection, by 20th May 2021
4. All objections should be sent in writing to the Licensing Team, Reading Borough Council, Civic Centre, Bridge Street, Reading, RG1 2LU, stating the grounds of objection.

The applicant's attention is drawn to the requirements of Paragraphs B-11 of Schedule 3 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982 and in particular to the following requirements:-
(i) The publication of a Notice in the above form in a local newspaper circulating within the Borough of Reading within 7 days of the application for grant/renewal/transfer of a licence.
(ii) The displaying of a Notice in the above form on the premises for which a licence is sought for at least 21 days, beginning with the date of the application. The Notice must be so located as to be conveniently read by the public.
(iii) The sending of a copy of the application to the Chief Officer of Police within 7 days of making the application.
