(Alderney Gardens, Wickford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Aldemey Gardens, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Brock Hill to its junction with Swan Lane a distance of approximately 720m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th May 2021 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2313759 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Swan Lane, Brock Hill and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 13th May 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Daws Heath Road, Rayleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Daws Heath Road, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Roach Avenue to its junction with Woodlands Avenue a distance of approximately 340m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th May 2021 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30034842553UK - Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement and overhead cabling works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
Alternative routes are available via
1. A127, Progress Road, Rayleigh Road, Eastwood Road, Daws Heath Road
2. A127, Rayleigh Weir Roundabout, High Road, High Street, Eastwood Road, Daws Heath Road.
The Order will come into effect on 13th May 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(The Fremnells, Fryerns) (Temporary Introduction of No Left-Hand Turn) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a no left hand turn from The Fremnells, Fryerns in the Borough of Basildon, into the junction with Broadmayne. The restriction is scheduled to commence on 26th May 2021 for 2 nights (22:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP10000010508 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while street lighting replacement works are undertaken by Essex County Council. The alternative route is available via The Fremnells, Whitmore Way, Church Road and Broadmayne.
The Order will come into effect on 13th May 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Lilac Avenue, Canvey Island) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Lilac Avenue, Canvey Island in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Goirie Avenue for a distance of approximately 35m in a northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th May 2021 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30050209770 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Goirie Avenue, Waalwyk Drive, Mornington Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 13th May 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, Borough of Basildon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.6) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the Borough of Basildon as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 13th May 2021, exact dates will be specified on One.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Vange in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 25m northwest of its junction with Osborne Road for a distance of approximately 105m in a northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th May 2021 for 1 night (20:30-23:30), or where stated on a valid permit (EN014M12053 - Essex and Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while water box replacement works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.
An alternative route is available via Broadmayne, Mopsies Roundabout, Churchill Avenue, Timberlog Lane, Clay Hill Road, Southemhay, Long Riding and vice versa. (Hillhouse Drive, Billericay) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Hillhouse Drive, Billericay in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Stock Road to its junction with The Spinney a distance of approximately 80m.
2. To temporarily close that length of Hillhouse Drive, Billericay in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Perry Street for a distance of approximately 90m in a southeasterly direction.
Closure (1) is scheduled to commence on 10th May 2021 tor 12 days and Closure (2) is scheduled to commence on 17th May 2021 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5021001052970 - Cadenf). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.

(Holbek Road, Canvey Island) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Holbek Road, Canvey Island in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Gifhom Road tor a distance of approximately 60m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th May 2021 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2308080 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Hullbridge Road, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Down Hall Road tor a distance of approximately 360m in a northwesterly then northeasterly direction.
2. To temporarily close that length of Rawreth Lane, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Hullbridge Road to its junction with Exmouth Drive a distance of approximately 215m.
3. To temporarily close that length of Mortimer Road in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Hullbridge Road to its junction with Eastview Drive a distance of approximately 135m.
The closures for (Rawreth Lane & Mortimer Road) are scheduled to commence on 12th May 2021 for 38 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231004844 - TDR Groundworks Ltd).
The closure tor (Hullbridge Road) is scheduled to commence on 14th June 2021 for 5 nights (20:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231004844 - TDR Groundworks Ltd).
