Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: a) Church lane, (Part), Bishopstone; from its junction with Mill Lane for a distance of approximately 285 metres in a northerly direction, b) Mill Lane (Part), Bishopstone; from its junction with Church Lane for a distance of approximately 570 metres in an easterly direction to enable Openreach to carry out High Voltage Poling and associated works. Alternative route (a): via Church Lane (unaffected length) -CI 2 - Harvest Lane - Faulston Lane - Mill Lane (unaffected length) and vice versa. Alternative route (b): No alternative route is available; access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order which previously came into operation on 14 January 2021 will now recommence on 10 May 2021 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 until 15 May 2021. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order has a maximum duration of 18 months. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Overway Lane, Donhead St Andrew; from its junction with Milkwell to its junction with A30 to enable Wessex Water to install a new water main with associated works. Alternative route: via Milkwell -A30 and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order which previously came into operation on 17 August 2020 will now recommence on 10 May 2021 and the closure will be required until 21 May 2020. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order has a maximum duration of 18 months. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: A) St Francis Road (Part), Salisbury; from its junction with A345 for a distance of approximately 150 metres in a north easterly direction. B) St Francis Road (Part), Salisbury; from its junction with St Francis Crescent to its junction with Pauls Dene Cresent. C) Pauls Dene Cresent (Part), Salisbury; from its junction with St Francis Road to its junction with Hilltop Way to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out Carriageway resurfacing and associated works. Alternative route (a): via St Francis Road (unaffected length) - Oakway Road - Sunnyhill Road -Thistlebarrow Road - Bartlett Road - Beatrice Road - A345 and vice versa. Alternative route (b) to (c): via Pauls Dene Cresent (unaffected length) -St Francis Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 04 June 2021 and the closure will be required weekdays between the hours of 09:00 and 15:30 until 11 June 2021. Alternative route: via Wishford Road (unaffected length) - A360 - Camp Hill - C42 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 10 May 2021 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 until 11 May 2021. This Order will come into operation on 12 May 2021 and the closure will be required as follows; Wednesday 12 May 2021 between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 until Friday 14 May 2021; Monday 17 May 2021 between the hours of 07:00 and 18:00 until Tuesday 25 May 2021.
