Goods Vehicle Operator's Licence
Stephen Peter Hiatt trading as Bristol Preservations of Ramthorne Farm, Hook Norton, Banbury, Oxon, 0X15 5DE is applying to change an existing licence as follows: To keep an extra 2 goods vehicles and 0 trailers at the operating centre at Ramthorne Farm, Hook Norton, Banbury, Oxon, 0X15 5DE. And to remove the following conditions or undertakings which reads:
1.) The maximum number of authorised vehicles at the
operating centre shall be 4 vehicles. 2.) The authorised vehicles shall be restricted to twin axle vehicles having a plated weight not exceeding 17,000kgs. Gross vehicle weight. 3.) The movement of the authorised vehicles at, into or out of the operating centre and maintenance of authorised vehicles at the the operating centre shall only take place on the days Monday to Saturday, excluding Bank Holidays, between the following hours: Monday to Friday: 07:00 to 18:30hrs. Saturday: 08:00 to 17:00hrs. There shall be no movement or maintenance of authorised vehicles on Sundays or Bank Holidays. 4.) Movements of authorised vehicles may take place outside the hours of operation specified in condition 3. ONLY if such movements of an authorised vehicle is required for reason or emergency. The operator shall notify the Western Traffic Area Office in writing of all such movements outside the permitted hours within 7 days of their occurrence detailing the timing and full reasons for such exceptional movement explaining why it could not be accomodate within those times. 5.) On each day that the vehicle movement is
authorised, the authorised vehicles shall not make more than a combined total of six journeys in and out of the operating centre. 6.) Authorised vehicles shall only enter and exit the operating centre in forward gear travelling at a safe speed of no more than 5mph on the access road between leaving the public highway and reaching the parking location at the operating centre (and vice versa). 7.) Authorised vehicles shall only be kept within the confines of the operating centre and shall be parked in the barn shown on the photographs annotated A and C produced at the inquiry on the 2nd February 2007. And which applies at the operating centre at Ramthorne Farm, Hook Norton, Banbury, Oxon, OX15 5DE. Owners or occupiers of land (including buildings) near the operating centre(s) who believe that their use or enjoyment of that land would be affected, should make written representations to the Traffic Commissioner at Hillcrest House, 386 Harehills Lane, Leeds, LS9 6NF stating their reasons within 21 days of this notice. Representors must at the same time send a copy of their representations to the applicant at the address given at the top of this notice.
