Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009 Application for Replacement of ICCP System on Canvey Island Bridge
Notice is hereby given that Mr Clive Woodruff, Seax House, Chelmsford, CM11QH, has applied to the Marine Management Organisation under the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009, Part 4, for a marine licence to replace the ICCP system on Canvey Island Bridge. Copies of the application and associated information may be viewed on line in the Public Register at

(High Street, Market Road, Wickford) (Experimental Prohibition of Motor Vehicles) Order 2021
Further to the notice published on 22 April 2021, Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 9 and 10 and Parts III of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the orders: To introduce an experimental prohibition of motor vehicles which will apply Saturdays only 5am to 6pm on the following lengths of road:
Road Description
High Street, Wickford From its junction with Station Approach, in a generally south direction to its junction with A129 London Road.
Market Road, Wickford From its junction with High Street, in a generally west direction for a distance of approximately 73 metres.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 08 May 2021 and is due to last for a maximum of 18 months.

Objections: The Essex County Council will consider in due course whether the provisions of the experimental order should be continued in force indefinitely. Within a period of six months beginning from the date on which the experimental order came into force, or if that order is varied by another order or modified pursuant to Section 10(2) of the 1984 Act, beginning with the day on which the variation or modification or the latest variation or modification came into force, any person may object to the making of an order for the purpose of such indefinite continuation. Any such objections must be e-mailed to
quoting reference TRAF/7556 by 06 November 2021. All comments will be welcome in order that the effectiveness of the scheme may be judged.
(A13 Pitsea Bypass/Vange Bypass, Pitsea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Pitsea Bypass/Vange Bypass, Pitsea in the Borough of Basildon from the point where the offslip for Broadway Link Roundabout is to the Thurrock Borough Council boundary a distance of approximately 3330m in both directions.
2. To temporarily close the onslip Road from Five Bells Roundabout North onto the A13 Pitsea Bypass.
3. To temporarily close that length of Brackendale Avenue onslip Road to its junction with Pitsea Bypass a distance of 285m in a westerly direction.
4. To temporarily close the offslip from Broadway Link Roundabout onto the A13 Pitsea
The closures are scheduled to commence on 21st May 2021 for 2 nights (21:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP2012309902 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while verge maintenance works are undertaken by Essex County Council, An alternative route is available via, Nether Mayne, Fobbing Farm Roundabout, Roundacre New Roundabout, Roundacre, Broadmayne Roundabout, Broadmayne, Mopsies Roundabout, Lincoln Road, South Mayne, High Road, Broadway Link Roundabout, Pitsea Bypass and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 6th May 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Church Road, Rawreth) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984..
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Rawreth in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 1250m north of its junction with London Road for a distance of approximately 165m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th May 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SAWBKFHT0N001 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via London Road, Carpenters Arms Roundabout, Chelmsford Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 6th May 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, Basildon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit) & (Temporary Introduction of Clearway) (Streetworks No.1) Order 2021

Effect of the order
1. To temporarily close those various lengths of roads in the Borough of Basildon as detailed in the Schedule.
2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in the various lengths of road as detailed In the Schedule.
3. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the various lengths of roads as specified in the schedule for the duration of the restrictions in order to facilitate the works. Signs will be Installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.
4. "The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works are scheduled to commence after 6th May 2021, as stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on One.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while superfast Installation cabling works are undertaken by County Broadband.
The Order will come into effect on 6th May 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

2. A temporary "No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Laurel Avenue, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Azalea Avenue to its junction with Lilac Avenue a distance of approximately 230m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th May 2021 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2311597 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Keats Way, Fames Avenue, Laburnum Avenue, Lilac Avenue and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 22nd April 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
