(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN ROWLEY LANE, BOREHAMWOOD AND SANDY LANE, BUSHEY) ORDER 2021
NOTICE Is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of Rowley Lane, Borehamwood from its junction with Holmshill Lane south westwards to its junction with Well End Road, a distance of approximately 1294m.
An alternative route will be via Holmshill Lane, Buckettsland Lane and Well End Road.
2. that length of Sandy Lane, Bushey from its junction with A41 Tylers Way south westwards, south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with Little Bushey Lane, a distance of approximately 330m.
An alternative route will be via A41 Elton Way, B462 Hartspring Lane and Little Bushey Lane. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 3 May 2021 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF DOG KENNEL LANE, CHORLEYWOOD) ORDER 2021

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Dog Kennel Lane, Chorieywood from its junction with South Cottage Drive north westwards for a distance of approximately 30m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Dog Kennel Lane, Berry Lane, Valley Road, The Clump, A404 (Chorieywood Road/Rickmansworth Road) and Dog Kennel Lane.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 6 May 2021 for a period of up to 18 months.
However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN WATFORD AND CHORLEYWOOD) ORDER 2021

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. the service road situated on the north side of 'Observer House', Watford from its junction with Caxton Way north westwards for a distance of approximately 57m.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
2. that length of Dove Park, Chorieywood from its junction with Heronsgate Road north eastwards, south eastwards, north eastwards, north westwards, south westwards and north eastwards to its junction with Burfield Road, a distance of approximately 547m.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
3. that length of Durban Road West, Watford from its junction with Burton Avenue eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with Whippendell Road, a distance of approximately 124m.
An alternative route will be via Durban Road West, Mildred Avenue, Harwoods Road and Whippendell Road.
4. that length of Warneford Place, Watford from its junction with King Edward Road south westwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
5. that length of King Edward Road, Watford from its junction with A411 Chalk Hill south eastwards to its junction with Cross Road, a distance of approximately 259m.
An alternative mute will be via A411 Chalk Hill, Haydon Road and Cross Road.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 3 May 2021 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF RIVERSIDE ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2021

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Riverside Road, Watford from its junction with Colne Avenue south westwards to its junction with Silk Mill Road ("the Road"), a distance of approximately 310m.
An alternative route will be via Colne Avenue, A4125 Eastbury Road and Silk Mill Road.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 23 April 2021 for a period of up to 18 months.
However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Tichborne, Maple Cross from its junction with Longcroft Road south eastwards for its entire length ("the Road"), except for access.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst worts are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 3 May 2021 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Cardinal
HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:
Avenue, Borehamwood from its junction with B5378 Shenley Road south eastwards to its junction with Hillside Avenue ("the Road"), a distance of approximately 475m.
An alternative route will be via B5378 Shenley Road, Furzehill Road and Hillside Avenue.
The Order is needed because the replacement of existing utility covers is proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 7 May 2021 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Blairhead Drive, South Oxhey from its easternmost junction with Gosforth Lane north westwards, south westwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 297m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via Gosforth Lane and Blairhead Drive. ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because carriageway resurfacing and road marking works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 3 May 2021 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Balmoral Drive, Borehamwood from its junction with the Ripon Way roundabout north eastwards to its junction with Arundel Drive ("the Road"), a distance of approximately 179m.
An alternative route will be via Ripon Way, Manor Way and Arundel Drive.
The Order is needed because the replacement of existing utility covers is proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 5 May 2021 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF WATFORD BOROUGH PUBLIC FOOTPATH N0.072) ORDER 2021

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using Watford Borough Public Footpath No.072 from its junction with Cassiobury Drive north westwards to its junction with Glen Way ("the Public Footpath"), a distance of approximately 166m.
An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the north and east sides of Cassiobury Drive, the footway situated on the north side of Langley Way, the footway situated on the west side of A411 Hempstead Road and the footway situated on the south and east sides of Glen Way. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Public Footpath. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 1 May 2021 for a period of up to 6 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Public Footpath.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access:-
1. that length of Richmond Way, Croxley Green from its junction with Durrants Drive eastwards for a distance of approximately 67m.
An alternative route will be via Durrants Drive, Ludlow Way, Links Way and Richmond Way or via Durrants Drive, Warwick Way, Links Way and Richmond Way.
2. that length of Durrants Drive, Croxley Green from its junction with Hastings Way southwards for a distance of approximately 65m.
An alternative route will be via Durrants Drive, Ludlow Way, Links Way, Warwick Way and Durrants Drive.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 19 April 2021 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

An alternative route will be via Wetherby Road and Rossington Avenue.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from making a left turn manoeuvre from Barton Way into Sherborne Way, Croxley Green ("the Roads") whilst works are in progress.
An alternative route will be via Sherborne Way, Lancing Way, Baldwins Lane, Repton Way and Sherborne Way.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 21 April 2021 for a period of up to 18 months. THE HERTFORDSHIRE (LOWER HIGH STREET, WATFORD) (PRESCRIBED LEFT TURNS) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce restrictions on parts of Lower High Street, Watford as specified in the Schedules to this Notice. The Orders will come into effect on Friday 23 April 2021. Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are held on deposit from 16 April 2021 to 28 May 2021 at Main Reception, Hertfordshire County Council, County Hall, Pegs Lane, Hertford. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained in them, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any Instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Orders, may within 6 weeks from the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for this purpose.
SCHEDULE 1: No waiting at any time - effecting those sections of road herein listed and as set out in the Order and accompanying plan - at the junction of A411 Lower High Street and the access road leading to 1 -4 Frogmore Cottages, Lower High Street.
SCHEDULE 2: Prescribed left turns - effecting that section of road herein listed and as set out in the Order and accompanying plan - All vehicles exiting Lower High Street access road leading to 1 -4 Frogmore Cottages, will be required to make a left turn at its junction with A411 Lower High Street, so as to travel in the general direction of Bushey Arches.
