DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL (RESIDENTS PARKING) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2012 (AMENDMENT NO. 2), (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND LOADING) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2012 (AMENDMENT NO. 8) AND (ON STREET PARKING PLACES) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2012 (AMENDMENT NO. 2) ORDER 2016
Notice is hereby given that Darlington Borough Council has made an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32: 35, 45, 46, 47, 49 and 53 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of the Traffic Management Act 2004. The effect of the Order, which comes into operation on the 1st July 2016, is:-
1. To amend the lengths of road which will be designated as residents parking in the following

roads:-
Beechwood Avenue, Bloomfield Road, Cleveland Terrace, Coniscliffe Road, Elmfield Terrace, Eskdale Street North Back, Herbert Street, Hundens Lane, Langholm Crescent, North Eastern Terrace, North Lodge Terrace, Oakdene Avenue, Outram Street, Pensbury Street, Rockingham Street, South Terrace, Stanhope Road South, Thornton Street, Waverley Terrace, West Crescent, Witbank Road Hollyhurst Road Cross Back Street, Wycombe Street
2. To introduce No Waiting and No Loading/Unloading at anytime in.the following length of road:-WitbankRoad, HollyhurstRoad, CrossBackStreet-north side, from apoint0.7metresto4 metres west of its junction with Hollyhurst Road and from a point 15 metres west of its junction with Hollyhurst Road to its junction with Witbank Road

3. TointroduceNoWaitingatanytimein.thefollowinglengthsofroad:-

Elmfield Street-the west side, from its junction with Elmfield Terrace northwards for a distance of 5m; both sides, from its junction with Thornton Street eastwards for a distance of 5m; the north side, from its junction with Elmfield Street westwards for a distance of 5m; the south side, from apoint5m westtoapoint5m eastofitsjunction with Thornton StreetandNorth LodgeTerrace Back Street and from its junction with North Lodge Terrace westwards for a distance of5m North Lodge Terrace - the west side, from its junction with Elmfield Terrace southwards for a distance of2m
Outram Street-theeastside, from apoint5m north toapoint5m south ofitsjunction with Wycombe Street
South Terrace - the north side, from the eastern boundary 24 South Terrace to a point 1.2 metres westofthewestern boundary6South Terrace, thesouth sidefrom apoint9.9metreseastofthe western endofthestreettoapointoppositethewestern boundary21 SouthTerraceandfrom a point 11.4 metres west to a point 10 metres east of its junction with Feethams South

Southend Avenue West Back - both sides from its junction with Oakdene Avenue to the northern sideofitsjunction with SouthendPlace
5. Tointroduce2hourlimitedwaitingMon-Sat8am-6pm in thefollowinglengthsofroad:-Bloomfield Road - the south side, from a point 10 metres to a point 31.5 metres west of its junction with Witbank Road

North LodgeTerrace-theeastside, from apointoppositethesouthern boundary20North Lodge Terrace southwards for a distance of36m
6. Tointroduce2hourlimitedwaitingMon-Sat9am-5pm in thefollowinglengthsofroad:-PensburyStreet-thewestside, from apoint9.5m south ofthenorthern boundary18Pensbury Street southwards for a distance of30m

7. Tointroduce 2 hour limited waiting Mon-Fri 9am-5pm in the following lengths ofroad:-FifeRoad-thewestside, from apoint3m north ofitsjunction with Langholm Crescenttoits junction with Langholm CrescentNorth Back

SwinburneRoad-theeastside, from apoint5m south ofitsjunction with AbbeyRoad southwardsforadistanceof24m andfrom apoint5metresnorth ofitsjunction with Cleveland Terracenorthwardsfora distance of20metres

A copy of the Notice and Order may be examined free of charge duringthehoursof9am to4.30pm MondaytoFridayinclusiveattheTown Hall, Feethams, Darlington. If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or any provision of it, on the grounds that it is not within the power of the relevant section of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or of any requirementofthatActoranyenactmentmadeunderithasnotbeen compliedwith in relation tothe Orderyou may, within sixweeksfrom thedateofthisnotice, applytotheHigh Courtforthispurpose.
