VICTORIA ROAD N18 - TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in order to facilitate essential carriageway re-surfacing works on Victoria Road N18, the Council of the London Borough of Enfield have made the Enfield (Victoria Road N18)(No.2)(Temporary Restriction of Traffic) Order 2021 under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit traffic from entering and proceeding on Victoria Road at its junction with Park Road, as and when directed by signage.

3. The prohibitions referred to in paragraph 2 above will not apply to works vehicles or, if the works allow, to police or emergency services vehicles.

4. The prohibitions will come into operation "At Any Time" on 12 April 2021 and will continue in force for 5 days or until works are completed.

5. Whilst the prohibitions are in operation the diversion route vehicular traffic will be:

(i) Park Road, Victoria Road / Park Lane heading north:

Park Road N18, A1010 Fore Street N18, A1010 The Broadway N9, Church Street N9, Victoria Road N9 and vice versa; and
(ii) Victoria Road / Park Lane & Park Road heading south: Park Lane N9, Sweet Briar Walk N18, Silver Street N18, Victoria Road N18, Sterling Way N18, A1010 Fore Street and Vice Versa.
