CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
ESHOLT LANE, ESHOLT TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO. 1376) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works proposed to be executed on or near Esholt Lane, Esholt intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Esholt Lane from a point outside the entrance to the caravan site to a point at Gill Syke beck.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Esholt Lane (unaffected section), Chapel Lane, Station Road, Hollins Hill, Otley Road and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on 12th April 2021 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on 13th April 2021 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
