(DERBY ROAD (REAR). STANLEY) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2021
The Council on 26/3/21 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 20m of rear Derby Rd alongside the gable of no 29 Joseph St, Stanley to enable sewer repair works to be undertaken. Alt route from the eastern side of the closure from side Derby Dr southwards on Joseph St, west on Lindon Rd and north on Joseph St/Garden Tee back to the western side of the closure, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence from 8.30am on 6/4/21 and are anticipated to be completed in 1 day. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
(MONA STREET. STANLEY) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2021
The Council on 26/3/21 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 35m of Mona St that extends southwards from its junction with A693 High St, Stanley to enable road crossing duct renewal works to be undertaken. Alt route locally via High St, Slaidburn Rd, Lees St side and Lees St. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence from 7am on 5/4/21 and are anticipated to be completed in 7 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
(HEDLEY HILL TERRACE. WATERHOUSES) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2021
The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 30m of side and rear no,l Hedley Hill Tee from its junctions with Hedley Hill Rd, Waterhouses to enable sewer repair works to be undertaken. Alt route during the works period from the south western side of the closure easterly along Hedley Hill Rd to the side access to rear Hedley Hill Tee to the north eastern side of the closure, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence from 8.30am on 19/4/21 and are anticipated to be completed in 5 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
(TURNER STREET. CONSETT) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2021
The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 42m of road from the junction of Turner St and Derwent St at the westerly side of the closure in an easterly direction to the junction of Turner St and Hawthorn Tee and 55m of road from the northern side of the closure in a southerly direction to 85 Turner St to enable installation of new service connection works to be undertaken. Alt route to Hawthorn Tee from the western side of the closure at the junction of Turner St and Derwent St along Derwent St in a northerly direction, then easterly along Hawthorn St and then southerly along Hawthorn Tee to the north eastern side of the closure, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 19/4/21 and are anticipated to be completed in 5 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
(BRIDGE STREET, DURHAM) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2021
The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 40m of road between nos 1 and 44 Bridge St, Durham to enable Northern Powergrid to undertake LV cable overlay works. There is no alternative route available, however access to residents will be permitted by use of road plates when required. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 19/4/21 and are anticipated to be completed in 14 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
