DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) 2021 VICTORIA EMBANKMENT, DARLINGTON
Darlington Borough Council has made an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to close:
VICTORIA EMBANKMENT From its junction with Victoria Road southwards to the north side of Leafield Road junction And from the south side of its junction with Leafield Road southwards to its end
Only one section will be closed at a time
An alternative route will be signed via Victoria Road, Bedford Street, Leafield Road and vice versa
The Order is necessary to allow road maintenance works.
The maximum duration of the temporary closure under this Order is 18 months commencing from 4th May 2021, it is anticipated that the closure will be effective for 6 weeks.
