(Owers Place, High Roothing, Uttlesford) (20mph Zone) Order 2021 Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 84(1) (a) and (2) and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order: To introduce a 20mph Zone on Owers Place, High Roothing in the District of Uttlesford from a point approximately 8 metres from its junction with The Street in a south-westerly direction for its entire length. Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 2 April 2021. Application to the high court Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
(Terling Hall Road, Hatfield Peverel) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the older: To temporarily close that length of Terling Hall Road, Hatfield Peverel in the District of Braintree, from its junction with London Road for a distance of approximately 375m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th April 2021 for 2 nights (22:00-06:00), or where stated on a valid permit (KL701LTN1 -35-02-300421 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while rail examination works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd. An alternative route is available via London Road, Hatfield Peverel Bypass, The Street, Station Road, Terling Road, Hatfield Road, Crow Pond Road, Church Road, Terling Hall Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 8th April 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(London Road/Queenborough Road, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of London Road, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 295m north east of its junction with Ludham Hall Lane for a distance of approximately 247m in a north easterly direction.

2. To temporarily close that length of Queenborough Road, Braintree, in the District of Braintree from its junction with London Road to its junction with Springmead a distance of approximately 100m.

The closures are scheduled to commence on 6th April 2021 for 6 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP20153060713 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while raised table installation works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via London Road, King William Roundabout, Notley Cross, Garden Village Way, Garden Village Way Roundabout At Business Park, Garden village Way Roundabout Cuckoo Way, London Road Roundabout, London Road Roundabout North and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 1st April 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, District of Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.7) Order 2021 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the District of Braintree as specified in the schedule.

2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.

"The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 25th March 2021, exact dates will be specified on One.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
