Fife Council are trying to establish if there are any surviving relatives of the late John Hutton who was buried in Dunfermline Abbey in Dec 1812. Also buried in the grave are family members Jean, William, Janet, James and a William Innes. The Hutton family were the original owners of what is now known as the City Hotel, Dunfermline.
The grave will be affected by the proposed installation of a ramp to allow better access to the Abbey for less able visitors. We would ask that any surviving family members who have an interest in the grave to contact Liz Murphy, Bereavement Services Manager on Tel 01592 583524 or email
