Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Sidney Street (Part), Salisbury; from its junction with York Road for its remaining length in a southerly direction to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out Carriageway resurfacing and associated works. Access to Resident parking Mon-Sat 8am-6pm Zone D permit holders only will be prohibited for the duration of the works. No alternative route is available; access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible. The closure will be clearly Indicated by traffic signs. This Order which previously came into operation on 22 February 2021 will now recommence on 07 April 2021 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 until 08 April 2021. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order has a maximum duration of 18 months. This Order will come into operation on 26 April 2021 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 until 13 May 2021. This Order will come into operation on 08 April 2021 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 until 21 April 2021. Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Traffic Management Act 2004 The County of Wiltshire (North Street and West Street, Wilton) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2021
(Previously advertised as 2020) Notice is hereby given that on 23 March 2021 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act of 1984") and the Traffic Management Act 2004 the effect of which is to introduce No Waiting at any time on North Street - west side - from a point 3 metres south of its southern boundary with property No. 23 North Street for a distance of 12 metres in a north easterly direction West Street - south side - From a point 3.7 metres north west of its junction with Laras Lane for a distance of 16 metres in a south easterly direction. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the Act of 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act of 1984 or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. The Order will come into operation on 5 April 2021.
