BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL

The Council has made The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Footpath No. 67, Amersham) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2021 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath No. 67, Amersham, from Sheepfold Lane to Drakes Road. The closure is required whilst works to install a new high voltage electrical cable take place and it is anticipated that the works will commence on 29 March 2021 and will take approximately 2 weeks to complete. The alternative route for pedestrians affected by the closure will be via Sheepfold Lane, Hundred Acres Lane, Quarrendon Road, Drakes Road and vice versa. The Order will come into operation on 29 March 2021, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Grubbins Lane, Speen) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Grubbins Lane for approximately 380m. Alternative route: Grubbins Lane, Flowers Bottom Lane, Chapel Hill, Hampden Road, Monkton Wood, Pink Road, Lily Bottom Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach overhead cabling works take place commencing on 16 April 2021 between 08:00 and 18:00. The proposed Order will come into operation.

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Station Road, Marlow in the Parish of Marlow CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Station Road from St Peter Street for approximately 35m. Alternative route: Station Road, Dedmere Road, Newtown Road, Little Marlow Road, Chapel Street, Spittal Street, High Street and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Cadent Gas new connection works take place commencing on 12 April 2021 between 08:00 and 18:00. Road will be closed for the duration of the works. The proposed Order will come into operation on 12 April 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (The Vale, Chalfont St Peter in the Parish of Chalfont St. Peter CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in The Vale for approximately 30m. Alternative route: Market Place, Gold Hill North, Gold Hill East, Hampden Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Cadent Gas new connection take place commencing on 10 April 2021 between 08:00 and 18:00. These works will take place on 10th and 17th April only. The proposed Order will come into operation on 10 April 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (School Lane, Chalfont St Peter in the Parish of Chalfont St. Peter CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in School Lane from Hill Rise for approximately 397m. Alternative route: Austenwood Common, Kingsway, Claydon Lane, Lower Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach cabling works take place commencing on 6 April 2021 between 08:00 and 18:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 6 April 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (Elm Road, Penn in the Parish of Penn CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Elm Road from Church Road for approximately 45m. Alternative route: Elm Road, New Road, Church Road, School Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Crane lifting works take place commencing on 7 April 2021 between 06:00 and 20:00. This is planned for 7/4/21 with a contingency of 14/4/21. The proposed Order will come into operation on 7 April 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (Queens Road, Chesham in the Parish of Chesham CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Queens Road from Victoria Road for approximately 15m. Alternative route: Victoria Road, Albert Road, Gladstone Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst linkbox replacement for UKPN works take place commencing on 20 April 2021 between 08:00 and 16:00. Road will be closed for the duration of the works. The proposed Order will come into operation on 20 April 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (Abbey Barn Lane, High Wycombe in the Parish of Little Marlow CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Abbey Barn Lane from Heath End Road for approximately 370m. Alternative route: Heath End Road, Swains Lane, Treadaway Hill, Station Road, London Road, Abbey Barn Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Road closure to enable the construction of a new roundabout and associated works on Abbey barn Lane/Heath End Road junction as well as new bell mouth access to Abbey barn Lane works take place commencing on 6 April 2021 between 07:00 and 23:59. The proposed Order will come into operation on 6 April 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

Alternative route: Denham Lane, Nortoft Road, Rickmansworth Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Cadent gas mains renewal works take place commencing on 5 April 2021 between 08:00 and 16:00. Road will be closed for the duration of the works. The proposed Order will come into operation on 5 April 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
