North Hill, Sugar Loaf Hill

Western Power Distribution Pic have applied to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for consent under section 38 of the Commons Act 2006 to carry out restricted works on 'North Hill, Sugar Loaf Hill. The Planning Inspectorate will decide the application on behalf of the Secretary of State.

The proposed works are the installation of a low voltage underground electricity cable. A temporary working area will be required with temporary fencing extending along the route, for the duration of the works.

The works will be located within the access track leading to the Severn Trent Pumping Station, at the top of Beacon Road.

Due to advice in respect of COVID-19, a copy of the application will not be made publicly available.
