AMENDMENT OF THE AREA OF LION GREEN ROAD CAR PARK. COULSDON
The Crovdon (Off Street Parking Places) (
No.1) Traffic Order 2021
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 06 April 2021 made the above Traffic Order under Sections 32, 35, 124 of, and Parts I to IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Order will be to amend the area of the Lion Green Road off-street car park as described in the Schedule to this Notice.

3. Copies of the Order, which will come into operation on 29 March 2021, can be inspected by appointment from 9am to 4pm, on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, at the Enquiry Counter, "Access Croydon" Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1EA.

4. Copies of the Order may be obtained from the Order Making Section, Parking Design, 6th Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1 EA or via email from

parking.design@croydon.gov.uk

.

5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

SCHEDULE - AMENDED AREA OF CAR PARK
Lion Green Road, Coulsdon (Long stay car park)

means the area of land used as a parking place bounded on the north­east side by Lion Green Road, on the north-west side by the south-eastern boundaries of Nos. 1 and 2 Well Cottages, Fourth Drive, the Scout Hall, Fourth Drive and the Post Office at No. 21 Lion Green Road, on the south­west side by Smitham Primary School and on the south-east side by the north-western boundary of the Brick by Brick housing development, Lion Green Road.

PUBLIC NOTICE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 SECTION 247

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF CROYDON ACTING IN ITS CAPACITY AS A LOCAL HIGHWAY AUTHORITY hereby gives notice of the proposal to make an Order under section 247 of the above Act to authorise the stopping up part of Longheath Gardens.
IF THE ORDER IS MADE, the stopping up will be authorised only in order to enable the development described in the schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted under Part III of the Act to Miss Jennifer Islip Carter Jonas LLP, 1 Chapel Place London W1G OBG on 15 June 2017 planning reference 16/06508/FUL.

Demolition of existing garages and erection of 6 buildings varying in height between two and six storeys comprising a total of 23 two bedroom and 30 one bedroom flats. Provision of associated car parking, landscaping and other associated works.
DESCRIPTION OF HIGHWAY TO BE STOPPED UP
1. The highway to be stopped up is in the London Borough of Croydon, is an irregular section of highway shown shaded in brown on drawing reference 18084-01-701 revision C forming a cul-de-sac terminating at 66 Longheath Gardens.
2. The highway to be stopped up is in the London Borough of Croydon, is an irregular section of highway shown shaded in brown on drawing reference 18084-01-701 revision C forming a cul-de-sac terminating at 142 Longheath Gardens.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984. SECTION 14
AS AMENDED. THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS)

ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS SANDFIELD ROAD. THORNTON HEATH TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to install a new gas connection, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit parking in Sandfield Road, Thornton Heath.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will be introduced, operating "at any time", outside Nos. 20 to 26 Sandfield Road.

3. The Order will come into operation on the 29 March 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

4. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. The prohibition will not apply to any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works, to any vehicle used for police, ambulance or fire brigade purposes, or to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS COULSDON COURT ROAD. COULSDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to install a new water connection they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Coulsdon Court Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Coulsdon Court Road will be closed outside No. 25 Coulsdon Court Road.

3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative route for traffic will be via Cearn Way and Coulsdon Road, as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 12 April 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 30 April 2021. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 ROLLESTON ROAD. SOUTH CROYDON NOTICE OF TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works to install a new water service connection they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in Rolleston Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-
(a) The carriageway of Rolleston Road will be closed outside Nos. 1 to 9 Rolleston Road;
(b) The southern footway of Rolleston Road opposite Nos. 1 to 9 Rolleston Road will be closed to pedestrians;
(c) Parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time" outside Nos. 1 to 9 Rolleston Road on both sides.

3. During the closure the diversion routes for vehicular traffic will be as detailed below and appropriately signed. Pedestrians will be diverted to the opposite footway.
(i) Southbound Bynes Road: via Bynes Road and Sanderstead Road.
(ii) Northbound Sanderstead Road: via Sanderstead Road, Brighton Road and Bynes Road.
(iii) Southbound Sanderstead Road: via Sanderstead Road, Purley Road, Brighton Road and Bynes Road.

4. The Order will come into operation on 12 April 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately seven days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a new telecommunication connection, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Whitgift Street, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, Whitgift Street in Croydon will be closed outside No.2.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via local streets as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 15 April 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 1 day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED BY SECTION 4 (71 OF SCHEDULE 5 TO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1985 AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 WHITWORTH ROAD & SELHURST ROAD. SOUTH NORWOOD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR & PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate ducting works on behalf of BT, they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict traffic in Whitworth Road and Selhurst Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:
(a) Whitworth Road will be closed at its junction with Selhurst Road;
(b) The north-western footway of Selhurst Road will be closed between the junction with Whitworth Road and No. 243 Selhurst Road;
(c) The bus stop outside Nos. 202 and 204 Selhurst Road will be suspended.

3. Whilst the closure is in force the diversion route for vehicular traffic will be via Selhurst Road and Upper Grove, as appropriately signed. Traffic in Selhurst Road will be a single lane controlled by temporary signals between the junction with Whitworth Road and No. 243 Selhurst Road in order to provide pedestrians with a walkway in the carriageway.

4. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

5. The Order will come into operation on 12 April 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately four days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be re-introduced should further works be required.
