TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH ELSTREE & BOREHAMWOOD 54

NOTICE Is given that the Hertfordshire County Council Intend to make an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath Elstree & Borehamwood 54, section north of Berwick Road, for an approximate distance of 250 metres.
Alternative Route: via Shenley restricted byway 45, Elstree & Borehamwood restricted byway 49, Theobald Street, Rossington Avenue and Haggerston Road The purpose of the Order is to enable surfacing works to take place.
The section of Footpath Elstree & Borehamwood 54 will be closed on or after 6th April 2021 for up to 6 months, when signs are in place. Works are expected to take 1 month to complete.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF CLARENDON ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2021
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Clarendon Road, Watford from its junction with A411 Beechen Grove south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with Market Street ("the Road"), a distance of approximately 270m, except for access. An alternative route will be via A411 Beechen Grove, Water Lane and High Street. The Order is needed because highway improvement works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 5 April 2021 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BUSHEY MILL CRESCENT, WATFORD) ORDER 2021
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Bushey Mill Crescent, Watford from a point in line with the northern boundary of No.66 Bushey Mill Crescent south westwards to a point in line with the southern boundary of No.74 Bushey Mill Crescent ("the Road"), a distance of approximately 38m, except for access. An alternative route will be via Bushey Mill Crescent, Bushey Mill Lane and Bushey Mill Crescent.
The Order is needed because water service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 7 April 2021 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON VARIOUS ROADS IN BUSHEY AND WATFORD) ORDER 2021
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of Chiltem Avenue, Bushey from its junction with Little Bushey Lane south westwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 333m.
An alternative route will be via Little Bushey Lane, Cotswold Avenue and Chiltem Avenue.
2. that length of Salisbury Road, Watford from its junction with A412 St Albans Road south eastwards to its junction with Bradshaw Road, a distance of approximately 165m.
An alternative route will be via A412 St Albans Road, Yarmouth Road and Bradshaw Road.
3. that length of Park Road, Watford from its junction with Church Road south westwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 56m.
An alternative route will be via Church Road, Stratford Road and Park Road.
4. that length of Church Road, Watford from its junction with Park Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 56m.
An alternative route will be via Park Road, Stratford Road and Church Road.
5. that length of Codicote Drive, Watford from its junction with Garston Lane north westwards to its southernmost junction with Gaddesden Crescent, a distance of approximately 113m.
An alternative route will be via Garston Lane, Cuff ley Avenue and Codicote Drive.
6. that length of Kingswood Road, Watford from its junction with Greenwood Drive south westwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 80m.
An alternative route will be via Kingswood Road, Briar Road, Hillingdon Road, Moss Road and Kingswood Road.
7. that length of Kingswood Road, Watford from its junction with Perivale Gardens south westwards to its junction with Moss Road, a distance of approximately 102m.
An alternative route will be via Perivale Gardens and Moss Road.
8. that length of Greenwood Drive, Watford from a point in line with the northern boundary of No.39 Greenwood Drive south eastwards to a point in line with the southern boundary of No.45 Greenwood Drive, a distance of approximately 50m.
An alternative route will be via Greenwood Drive, Hillingdon Road, Briar Road and Greenwood Drive.
ADDITIONALLY the existing one way traffic system on that length of Salisbury Road, Watford from its junction with A412 St Albans Road south eastwards to its junction with Bradshaw Road, a distance of approximately 165m will be temporarily suspended to enable vehicles to travel in both directions within this length of road, whilst works are in progress.
ADDITIONALLY the existing one way traffic system on that length of Yarmouth Road, Watford from its junction with A412 St Albans Road south eastwards to its junction with Bradshaw Road, a distance of approximately 171 m will be temporarily suspended to enable vehicles to travel in both directions within this length of road, whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 7 April 2021 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE BUS/CYCLE LANE SITUATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF A412 ST ALBANS ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2021
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all public service vehicles and pedal cycles from using the bus/cycle lane situated on the north side of A412 St Albans Road, Watford from a point 137m south west of its junction with the A412 The Dome Roundabout north eastwards for a distance of approximately 55m ("the Bus/Cycle Lane").
An alternative route will be via A412 St Albans Road.
The definition of a 'public service vehicle' has the same meaning as in Section 1 of the Public Passenger Vehicles Act 1981.
The definition of a 'pedal cycle' means a cycle powered only by foot or hand.
The Order is needed because the replacement of an existing utility pole is proposed to be executed on or near the Bus/Cycle Lane.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 5 April 2021 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Bus/Cycle Lane.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BUCKS HILL, SARRATT) ORDER 2021
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Bucks Hill, Sarratt from its junction with Sarratt Public Footpath No.011 north westwards for a distance of approximately 150m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Bucks Hill, Toms Hill, Chandlers Lane, Redhall Lane, Sarratt Road, Dimmocks Lane, The Green, Poles Hill, Dunny Lane, The Street, The Common and Bucks Hill.
The Order is needed because water service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 8 April 2021 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

TEMPORARY CLOSING OF WATFORD RURAL PUBLIC FOOTPATH N0.015) ORDER 2021
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using Watford Rural Public Footpath No.015 from its junction with Riverside Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 205m ("the Public Footpath"). An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the north side of Silk Mill Road. The Order is needed because electrical works are proposed to be executed near the Public Footpath.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 6 April 2021 for a period of up to 6 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Public Footpath.
