BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Church Lane, Fawley in the Parish of Fawley CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Church Lane from junction of Fawley Bottom Lane for approximately 65m. Alternative route: Dobsons Lane, Crockmore Lane, Road Running From Round Hill To Crockmore Farm, Road Running From Lower Assendon To Round Hill, Section Of B480 Through Lower Assendon, Section Of B480 Through Middle Assendon, Fawley Bottom Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach cable renewal works take place commencing on 25 March 2021 between 08:00 and 17:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 25 March 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council intends to make The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Footpath No. 67, Amersham) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2021 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath No. 67, Amersham, from Sheepfold Lane to Drakes Road. The closure is required whilst works to install a new high voltage electrical cable take place and it is anticipated that the works will commence on 29 March 2021 and will take approximately 2 weeks to complete. The alternative route for pedestrians affected by the closure will be via Sheepfold Lane, Hundred Acres Lane, Quarrendon Road, Drakes Road and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into operation on 29 March 2021, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.

PUBLIC NOTICE - TRAFFIC CALMING NORTH ROAD, WIDMER END

Notice is hereby given that in accordance with The Highways (Traffic Calming) Regulations 1999, Buckinghamshire Council propose to implement a traffic calming feature on North Road, Widmer End. The proposal is to provide rumble strip road markings on North Road, junction with Windmill Lane. The proposal is to improve road safety for all highway users. A copy of the plan is available to view at The Gateway, Gatehouse Road, Aylesbury, HP19 8FF. Objections to, or support for the proposal together with the grounds on which they are must be sent in writing by Tuesday 27th April 2021 to the Design Services, Transport for Buckinghamshire, Aylesbury Vale Area Office, Corrib Industrial Park, Griffin Lane, Aylesbury, Bucks, HP19 8FF; or by email to

Alternative route: Grubbins Lane, Flowers Bottom Lane, Chapel Hill, Hampden Road, Monkton Wood, Pink Road, Lily Bottom Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach overhead cabling works take place commencing on 16 April 2021 between 08:00 and 18:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 16 April 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (Station Road, Marlow in the Parish of Marlow CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Station Road from St Peter Street for approximately 35m. Alternative route: Station Road, Dedmere Road, Newtown Road, Little Marlow Road, Chapel Street, Spittal Street, High Street and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Cadent Gas new connection works take place commencing on 12 April 2021 between 08:00 and 18:00. Road will be closed for the duration of the works. The proposed Order will come into operation on 12 April 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (The Vale, Chalfont St Peter in the Parish of Chalfont St. Peter CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in The Vale for approximately 30m. Alternative route: Market Place, Gold Hill North, Gold Hill East, Hampden Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Cadent Gas new connection take place commencing on 10 April 2021 between 08:00 and 18:00. These works will take place on 10th and 17th April only. The proposed Order will come into operation on 10 April 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (School Lane, Chalfont St Peter in the Parish of Chalfont St. Peter CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2021 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in School Lane from Hill Rise for approximately 397m. Alternative route: Austenwood Common, Kingsway, Claydon Lane, Lower Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach cabling works take place commencing on 6 April 2021 between 08:00 and 18:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 6 April 2021, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
