ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Road Closure Mary's Terrace, Twickenham
(Reference 21/044)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a bridge inspection they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Mary's terrace, Twickenham
2. Whilst the works take place, no person may permit a vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Mary's Terrace from its junction with Railway Approach to the south-western kerb-line of the access to the rear of the Travelodge.
3. The order will come into effect on 31 March 2021. The restrictions will remain in force between 0930 and 1630 on 31 March 2021 only. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative route for traffic will be available via Beauchamp Road and Mary's Terrace.
5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle.
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Waiting Restriciotns Blandford Road, Teddington

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate tree pruning they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Blandford Road, Teddington
2. Whilst the works take place, no person may permit a vehicle to wait or stand in Blandford Road, Teddington between a point outside No 27 Blandford Road and a point outside No. 29 Blandford Road.
3. The order will come into effect on 19 April 2021. The restrictions will remain in force at all times on 19 and 20 April 2021. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
5. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle.
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.
6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Road Closure Constance Road, Whitton

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water works they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Constance Road, Whitton
2. Whilst the works take place, no person may permit a vehicle to wait or stand in Constance Road between its junctions with High Street and Mayfair Avenue.
3. The order will come into effect on 29 March 2021. The restrictions will remain in force at all times from 29 March 2021 until 31 March 2021. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative route for traffic will be available via Mayfair Avenue, Tranmere Road, High Street and vice versa.
5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle.
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Road Closure Level crossing at Strawberry Hill Station Tower Road/Wellesley Road, Twickenham

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate railway works, they intend a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in the level crossing at Strawberry Hill station in Tower Road and Wellesley Road, Twickenham.
2. Whilst the works take place no person may permit a vehicle to proceed in Wellesley Road between its junctions with Tower Road and Wellington Road
3. Whilst the level crossing is closed, an alternative route for traffic will be available via Wellesley Road, Hampton Road, Heath Road, A310 , Tower Road and Wellesley Road and vice versa
4. The order will come into effect on 28 March 2021. The restrictions will be in force at 00.01 and 06.00, nightly from .28 March 2021 until 7 April 2021 and whilst signs/cones are in place. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
5. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Nothing in the Notice will apply to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) emergency service vehicles.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate ducting works they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Sheen Road, Richmond
2. Whilst the works take place, no person may permit a vehicle to enter Sheen Road at its junction with Paradise Road.
3. The order will come into effect on 20 March 2021. The restrictions will remain in force at all times on 20 and 21 March 2021. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative route for traffic will be available via Paradise Road, Sheen Road, Church Road and Kew Road.
5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as Indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle.
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a traffic warden; or
(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate electrical works they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in The Vineyard, Richmond.
2. Whilst the works take place, no person may permit a vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in The Vineyard from its junction with Halford Road and the Queen Elizabeth Almshouses
3. The order will come into effect on 22 March 2021. The restrictions will remain in force at all times from 22 March 2021 until 26 March 2021. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative route for traffic will be available via Halford Road, Paradise Road, Red Lion Street, Hill Street, Hill Rise and The Vineyard
5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as Indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle.
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a traffic warden; or
(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
