(Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment Number 9) Order 202*
Notice is hereby given Colchester Borough Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 31 March 2011 proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4 (1), 4(2), 32,35,45,46,49 and 53 and Parts III and IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order:
1. To introduce and revoke restrictions in the Braintree District as follows: to introduce 'No Stopping At Any Time' red route restrictions on the junction of Challis Lane and NotJey Road, Braintree; to change the single yellow line 'No Waiting' restrictions outside No. 10 to No. 40 High Street, Halstead to 'No Waiting Friday 5am-8am Except Market Traders'; to introduce 'No Waiting At Any Time' junction protections on the junction of High Street and Grangewood Avenue, Kelvedon; to reduce the length of the 'No Waiting At Any Time' restrictions on the southeast side of High Street, Kelvedon, so its northernmost extent is at the shared boundary of No. 32 and No. 34 High Street; to extend the 'No Waiting At Any Time' restrictions at the junction of Swan Street and Heron Road, Kelvedon, replacing the 'No Waiting Mon-Fri 10am-11 am' restrictions; to introduce 'No Waiting At Any Time' outside No. 84, Kelvedon House and Nos. 88 and 90 on High Street, Kelvedon and to introduce Residents Permit Parking Area MV1 on MaltingsView, Braintree.
2. To amend Schedule 3 in The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 to append the items set out in Schedule 1 of this notice.
3. To amend Schedule 5 in The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 to append the items set out in Schedule 2 of this notice.
This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by replacing tile numbers TL755 217 with revision 2.TL810 305 with revision 1, TL855182 with revision 1, TL855185 with revision 1, TL860185 with revision 1.TL865190 with revision 1.TL860187 with revision 1 and TL760 230 with revision 2 and by introducing tile number TL755 220 at revision 0.

(Tey Road, Earls Colne) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Tey Road, Earls Colne in the District of Braintree, from The George Public House for approximately 110m South East.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 22/03/2021 to 29/05/2021 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while installation of new Foul and Surface Water connections are undertaken. The alternative route will be via A1124 Upper Holt Street, B1024 Coggeshall Road, America Road, Tey Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 22/03/2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Back Lane, Stisted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Back Lane, Stisted in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 20m north east of its junction with Sarcels for a distance of approximately 170m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th April 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30028878661 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cable works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Back Lane, The Street, Water Lane, Bridge Hall Road, A120 From J A131/bl 256 To J B1024 North Of Coggeshall, Coggeshall Road, A120 J Al3l/bl256 Roundabout, Marks Roundabout, Braintree Bypass - A131, Broad Road Roundabout, Broad Road, High Garrett, Halstead Road, Pennypot Comer, Boumebridge Hill, Braintree Road, Mount Hill, Trinity Street, Bridge Street, High Street, Head Street, Colchester Road, Greenstead Hall Road, Church Road, Grange Hill, Stisted Road, Brook Farm Road, Tumblers Green, Greenstead Green Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 18th March 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Bradleys Lane, Greenstead Green) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bradleys Lane, Greenstead Green in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Halstead Road to its junction with Sloe Lane a distance of approximately 390m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th April 2021 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA160LT004-E-SYHA- Gigaclear Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while superfast fibre optic broadband installation works are undertaken by Gigaclear Limited. An alternative route is available via Halstead Road - A1124, Halstead Road, Braintree Road, Hedingham Road, Halstead Road - Zc5002, White Ash Green, Bradleys Lane and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 18th March 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(The Street, Crossing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of The Street, Cressing in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Lanham Green Road for a distance of approximately 140m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th April 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30066878052 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Lanham Green Road, Lanham Green, Boars Tye Road, Temple Lane, Church Road, The Street and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 18th March 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Brickhouse Road, Colne Engaine) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Brickhouse Road, Colne Engaine in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Pebmarsh Road to its junction with Green Farm Road a distance of approximately 1875m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th March 2021 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2311083 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Pebmarsh Road, The Green, Green Farm Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 4th March 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Chapel Hill, Halstead) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Chapel Hill, Halstead in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Beridge Road to its junction with Trinity Street a distance of approximately 435m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th March 2021 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2311014 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Sloe Hill, White Ash Green, Halstead Road - Zc5002, The Street, Braintree Road, Gosfield Road, Halstead Road, Pennypot Corner, Bournebridge Hill, Mount Hill and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 4th March 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
