TOWN & COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

The Mayor and Burgesses of the London Borough of Enfield (the "Council") hereby give notice that they have made an Order under section 247 of the Town & Country Planning Act 1990 (as amended by Schedule 22 to the Greater London Authority Act 1999) ("the Act") to authorise the stopping up of those parts of the highway as set out in the Schedule and accompanying Plan.

The Order is made only in order to enable development to be carried out in accordance with a planning permission granted under Part III of the Act.

A copy of the Order may be inspected during the twenty-eight days commencing from the date of this notice. Due to the current Coronavirus pandemic orders and plans cannot currently be inspected in person. However, in line with guidance from the Department for Transport, the following alterative arrangements have been made:

b) Copies of the made orders and plans can also be obtained by emailing

or by writing to Traffic & Transportation, Civic Centre, Silver Street, Enfield, Middlesex, EN1 3XD.



Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question its validity, or any provision contained in the Order, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Act or that any procedural requirement of the Act or any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the making of the Order may, within six weeks following the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or any provision contained in the Order.
