(PROW 17, Great Braxted) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 17, Great Braxted in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Footpath 28 in a general southerly direction for approximately 119 metres.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 15 March 2021 to 19 March 2021 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while repair works to Great Braxted Mill Footbridge are undertaken.
The Order will come into effect on 15 March 2021 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Glynn Road/Princes Road, Burnham-on-Crouch) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Glynn Road, Burnham-on-Crouch in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 60m north of its junction with Alexandra Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a northerly direction.
2. To temporarily close that length of Princes Road, Bumham-on-Crouch in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 172m west of its junction with Eastern Road for a distance of approximately 35m in a westerly direction.
The closures are scheduled to commence on 30th March 2021 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC325CECGLYNN8010/BC325CECPRINCES8010 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct laying works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via Glynn Road, Alexandra Road, Eastern Road, Princes Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 11 th March 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, District of Maldon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.2) Order 2021 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the District of Maldon as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Maldon District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Areas) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 11th March 2021 exact dates will be specified on One.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
