THE GENERAL MOTORS RETIREES PENSION PLAN Notice to Creditors and Beneficiaries under Section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925 4th March 2021
Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925 that GM Retirees Pension Trustees Limited, the Trustee of the General Motors Retirees Pension Plan (the "Retirees Plan"), is winding- up the Retirees Plan.
The Retirees Plan was established in July 1988, following which the pension entitlements of a group of members of the Vauxhall and Associated Companies Pension Fund (now known as the General Motors (VACPF) Pension Fund) transferred to the Retirees Plan.
Any creditor or beneficiary of the Retirees Plan or any other person who believes they have a claim against or interest in the Retirees Plan is requested to write to the Trustee of the Retirees Plan at the following address:

Claimants should provide full particulars of their claim (including their name, address and date of birth and if applicable, which General Motors Company they worked for and when they worked at the company) within two months of the date of publication of this notice. Please quote the name of the Retirees Plan in all correspondence. After this date, the Trustee will proceed to wind-up the Retirees Plan and secure benefits for any remaining beneficiaries, having regard only to the claims and interests of which it has prior notice. The Trustee shall not be liable to any person of whose claims and demands it has not had notice. Any person who has been contacted by the Trustee at their current address or has already made a claim and received a response need not re-apply to the Trustee.
