(Mayland Hill, Mayland) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mayland Hill, Mayland in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Highlands Hill for a distance of approximately 35m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd March 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WCGH0R0NA1 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cable works are undertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via Green Lane, Burnham Road - B1018, Main Road, Southminster Road, Mayland Hill and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 4th March 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Princes Road/Glynn Road, Burnham-on-Crouch) (Temporary Prohibition
of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Princes Road, Bumham-on-Crouch in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Glynn Road for a distance of approximately 180m in an easterly direction.
2. To temporarily close that length of Glynn Road, Burnham-on-Crouch in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Princes Road for a distance of approximately 35m in a southerly direction.
The closures are scheduled to commence on 23rd March 2021 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30055272089 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Princes Road, Eastern Road, Alexandra Road, Glynn Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 4th March 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Totham Hill Green, Great Totham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Totham Hill Green, Great Totham in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Mount Lodge Chase to its junction with Plains Road a distance of approximately 45m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th March 2021 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SAWC1K7L0B001 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while joint box renewal works are undertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via Beckingham Road, Plains Road, Chapel Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 4th March 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, Maldon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of 30 MPH Speed Limit) & (Temporary Introduction of Clearway) (Streetworks No.2) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those various lengths of roads in the District of Maldon, as detailed in the Schedule.
2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in the various lengths of road as detailed in the Schedule.
3. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the various lengths of roads as specified in the schedule for the duration of the restrictions in order to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
4. "The Essex County Council (Maldon District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works are scheduled to commence after 4th March 2021, as stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on One.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while superfast installation cabling works are undertaken by County Broadband.
