Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: A) New Road (Part), Landford; from its junction with Footpath 19, Landford for a distance of approximately 700 metres in a westerly direction to enable BT to carry out Tree Cutting, fibre cable installation and associated works. Alternative route: via New Road (unaffected length) - B3079 - A36 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 28 March 2021 and the closure will be required as follows; Sunday 28 March 2021 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 for 1 day; Sunday 04 April 2021 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 for 1 day. Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: S) A338 (Part), Downton; from its junction with Batten Road to its junction with Warrens Lane to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out Carriageway resurfacing and associated works. Alternative route: via A338 (unaffected length) -A31 - A350 - A354 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 05 March 2021 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 until 11 March 2021. Q Southampton Road (Part), Salisbury; from its junction with A36 Southampton Road for a distance of approximately 120 metres in a northerly direction to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out Carriageway resurfacing and associated works. No alternative route is available; access will be maintained for residents and businesses. This Order will come into operation on 01 March 2021 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 until 04 March 2021, and then again on the 4th March the closure will be required until 5th March. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. For further information please contact Wiltshire Council Highways on 0300 456 0105. Orders (a) to (c) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
