Temporary Closure of Valley Road, Tarrant Launceston
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Valley Road, Tarrant Launceston between A354 Salisbury Road and Tarrant Monkton Ford (in both directions), a distance of approximately 1900 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 15 March 2021 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 26 March 2021. This Order will enable Wessex Water safe access to replace a water main. An alternative vehicular route will be signed via A354 Salisbury Road, A354 Blandford Bypass, B3082 Wimborne Road and Blandford Road. Residents access will be maintained.

Temporary Traffic Management Order of Park Street & Clifton Place, Weymouth
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 15 March 2021 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 24 March 2021
This Order will enable SGN, safe access to carry out 3 x new gas connections. The effect of this Order is;
[1] To impose road closure on Clifton Place from its junction with Park Street for a distance of 35 metres.
[2] To impose parking suspension on Park Street outside the Duke of Albany Public House and outside of Wok Express & Poh Sun Chinese takeway, as indicated by signs on site.
On this occasion for Clifton Place there will be no alternative route.

Temporary Closure of St Thomas Street, Weymouth
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along ST THOMAS STREET, WEYMOUTH between Iceland and its junction with Lower St Alban Street, a distance of approximately 15 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 15 February 2021 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 12 March 2021. This Order will enable SGN, safe access to carry out gas mains connection to newly laid pipe in St Alban Street plus gas mains disconnection to decommissioned metalic asset. On this occasion there will be no alternative route.

Temporary Traffic Management Order of Belle Vue and the Esplanade, Weymouth
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It came into operation on 8 March 2021 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 2 April 2021.
This Order will enable SGN, safe access torelay gas main on Belle Vue and accommodate storage unit on the Esplande. The effect of the notice is to;
[1] to impose road closure on Belle Vue for its entirety.
[2] to impose parking suspension on the Esplanade between the junction with South Parade to a point approximately 10 metres to the east as indicated by signs on site. This will be imposed to prevent waiting or parking on the highway or verge. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
An alternative vehicular route will be signed for Belle Vue by using; The Esplanade - Custom House Quay - East Street.
