ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 6
THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (FREE PARKING PLACES) (PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES) (AMENDMENT No. **) ORDER 201* DISABLED PERSONS PARKING BAYS VARIOUS STREETS THROUGHOUT THE BOROUGH (Reference 21/032)
1.The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames propose to make the above Order under sections 6, and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The principal objective of the Disabled Persons' Parking Places Order is to introduce a number of parking places for disabled persons where a high level of parking makes reasonable means of access difficult, and to discontinue a number of parking places previously provided where the demand for such bays no longer exists.
3. The Disabled Persons' Parking Places Order will introduce a parking bay for disabled persons' vehicles, operating "at any time" in the following streets:
Belmont Road, Twickenham
Burdenshott Avenue, Richmond
Church Road, Teddington
Garrick Road, Richmond
Hobart Place, Richmond
Hospital Bridge Road, Twickenham
Mill Farm Crescent, Twickenham
St Margarets Road, Twickenham
Twining Avenue, Twickenham
Browning Close, Hampton
Cedar Avenue, Twickenham
Elmsleigh Road, Twickenham
Grena Road, Richmond
Holmesdale Avenue, East Sheen
Kew Gardens Road, Kew
Princes Road, Richmond
The Vineyard, Richmond
Watney Road, Mortlake
4.The Disabled Persons' Parking Places Order will also revoke the existing parking bays for disabled persons' vehicles in the vicinity of the following properties: -

5. Copies of the proposed Order, plans showing the location and effect of the proposals and the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order: -
(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 21/032 at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and
(b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at http://www.richmond. gov.uk/public_notices
6. Persons wishing to object to or support the proposals or any part thereof should write to the Head of Engineering, Traffic and Parking Policy, London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham TW1 3BZ within 21 days of the date of this Notice giving the grounds of their objection. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Road Closure Marlborough Road, Richmond
(Reference 21/031)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a water connection they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic under the railway bridge in Marlborough Road, Richmond
2. Whilst the works take place, no person may permit a vehicle to proceed in Marlborough Road between a point outside No. 10 Marlborough Road and a point outside No. 14 Marlborough Road
3. The order will come into effect on 8 March 2021. The restrictions will remain in force at all times from 8 March 2021 until 12 March 2021. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative route for traffic will be available via Friars Stile Road, Richmond Hill and Queens Road.
5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle.
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a traffic warden; or
(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1)
Temporary Road Closure Avenue Road and Varna Road, Hampton
(Reference 21/030)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer cleaning they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Avenue Road and Varna Road, Hampton.
2. Whilst the works take place, no person may permit a vehicle to proceed in Avenue Road and Varna Road between their junctions with Station Road and Plevna Road.
3. The order will come into effect on 1 March 2021. The restrictions will remain in force between 09.30 and 15.30 on 1 March 2021. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative route for traffic will be available via Plevna Road.
5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle.
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a traffic warden; or
(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Road Closure Road Under Railway Bridge on Lower Teddington Road, Hampton Wick

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a power connection they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic under the railway bridge in Lower Teddington Road, Hampton Wick.
2. Whilst the works take place, no person may permit a vehicle to proceed in Lower Teddington Road between a point outside No 17 Lower Teddington Road and a point outside the entrance to Becketts Wharf.
3. The order will come into effect on 4 March 2021. The restrictions will remain in force at all times from 4 March 2021 until 8 March 2021. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative route for traffic will be available via Lower Teddington Road, Seymour Road, High Street, Hampton Wick and Lower Teddington Road and vice versa.
5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6. Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle.
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a traffic warden; or
(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
