HARINGEY COUNCIL - PUBLIC NOTICE
PROPOSED INTRODUCTION/AMENDMENT/REMOVAL OF WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS AND PARKING PLACES -VARIOUS LOCATIONS
THE HARINGEY (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. 3) ORDER 2021 AND VARIOUS CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE AMENDMENT ORDERS T50 & T64
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough ot Haringey on the 22 February 2021 made the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
The general effect of the Orders would be to formalise the below restrictions:
2. To extend: -
i. Existing loading bay no return operational hours outside nos. 58 - 60 Hornsey High Street N8 from 1 hour to 2 hours;
ii. Existing double yellow line by 4.2 meters in length outside 2 Clifton Road N8, therefore reducing the existing resident parking bay by 4.2 meters in length;
iii. The existing double yellow lines on The Avenue N10, at its junction with the access road to the CUFOs Centre by a distance of approximately 27 metres in a northerly westerly direction;
iv. The existing double yellow lines on Willoughby Lane N17 at its junction with Heybourne Road so that they measure a distance of approximately 15 metres both in a northerly and southerly direction;
3. To convert:-
i. Existing resident holder and pay by phone shared use bays outside nos. 19 to 25 and outside no. 2a Salisbury Road N22, towards the junction with Lordship Lane N22 into a permit holder and pay by phone shared use, with a maximum stay of 2 hours and no return of 2 hours;
ii. An existing pay by phone bay opposite no. 2a Salisbury Road N22 (outside flank wall) into a loading bay, with a max stay of 40 mins and no return of 2 hours;
iii. Existing loading bay outside nos. 58 - 60 Hornsey High Street N8, towards no. 62 operating with a max stay of 1 hour and no return of 2 hours;
iv. Existing single yellow lines on west and east side of Cross Lane N8 into double yellow lines;
v. Small section of resident parking bay outside 21 Oakfield Road N4 into double yellow lines, length of tree;
vi. Existing single yellow line into a double yellow line waiting restriction operating at all times opposite no. 4 Mansfield Avenue N15
vii. Existing resident bay into double yellow line waiting restriction operating at all times, 6 meters in length outside Ednam House on Florence Road N4;
viii. Existing single yellow line into a motorcycle parking bay, 5 meters in length, operating at all times outside 488 West Green Road N15;
ix. An existing resident holders only bay at the northern end of Rheola Close N17 into a loading only bay, with a maximum stay 40 minutes and operating Monday to Friday 8am to 6.30pm. The space will then be operating as a resident only bay on Saturdays and Sundays between 8am to 6.30pm;
4. To introduce:-
i. A waiting restriction operating at all times indicated by a double yellow line outside no. 29 Springfield Avenue N10;
ii. A waiting restriction operating at all times indicated by a double yellow line near junction with Albert Road N22 on Durnsford Road N17, near the crossing, on the park side;
iii. A waiting restriction operating at all times indicated by a double yellow line outside no. 1 Felixstowe Road N17 and around the bend;
iv. Loading restrictions indicated by double kerb blips on west and east side of Cross Lane N8;
v. Waiting restrictions operating at all times indicated by double yellow lines outside the dropped kerb of nos. 2, 6, 10, 44, 66, 69, 70, 78, 79, 80 and 83 Wood Vale N10;
vi. Double yellow lines measuring approximately 7 metres in length on Trinity Road N22, next to the access for the New River Path, replacing the existing resident parking bay by approximately 7 metres in length;
vii. 3 Pay by phone bays on Lordship Lane N22, outside no. 445 to no. 449, replacing the existing loading bays and operating at zone hours, with a max stay of 2 hours and no return of 2 hours;
5. Copies of the Orders referred to above, which will come into force on 25 February 2021, of plans which indicates the locations and effects of the Orders, and of a Statement of Reasons for making the Orders, may be inspected at the reception desk, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR or can be viewed online, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, at

6. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it does not comply with the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
