(Various Roads, Felsted) (30mph Speed Limit) Order 202*
Notice is hereby given that the Essex CountyCouncil proposes to make the above Order under Sections 84(1) and (2) and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To introducea 30mph speed limit on the following length of roads, Felsted in the District of Uttlesford:
Road
Description
School Lane (known locally as Stebbing Road)
From its junction with (B1417) Braintree Road in a north easterly direction to its as Stebbing junction with Garnetts Lane, a distance of approximately 550 metres.
Chantry Court
From its junction with School Lane for its entire length.
Players Court
From its junction with School Lane for its entire length.
Garnetts Lane From its junction with School Lane in a south-easterly direction to its junction with (B1417) Braintree Road a distance of approximately 456 metres.
Chestnut Walk
From its junction with Garnetts Lane for its entire length.
Chaffix
From its junction with Garnetts Lane for its entire length.
Chaffix Close
From its junction with Chaffix for its entire length.
Notice is also hereby given that under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Essex County Council proposes to establish a Zebra Crossing on School Lane (known locally as Stebbing Road), Felsted, in the District of Uttlesford.
The centre line of the proposed crossing will be located approximately 319 metres in a north easterly direction from its junction (B1417) Braintree Road.
The width of the crossing between stop lines will be approximately 6.5 metres.
The length of zig zags will be as follows:
BOTH SIDES - Extend from the give-way line for 18 metres either side of the crossing
