Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Phase One: A338 (Part) Churchill Way South, Salisbury - Northbound only; from its junction with Exeter Street roundabout to its junction with A36 College Roundabout. Phase Two: A338 (Part) Churchill Way South, Salisbury - Southbound and Northbound; from its junction with A36 College Roundabout to its junction with Exeter Street Roundabout. Phase Three: A338 (Part) Churchill Way South, Salisbury - Southbound only; from its junction with A36 College Roundabout to its junction with Exeter Street Roundabout to enable Highways England to carry out carriageway crossings for cabling of new streetlighting infrastructure. Alternative routes: Phase One: via A338 (unaffected length), A3098, A36. Phase Two: via A338 (unaffected length), A3098, A36 and vice versa. Phase Three: via A36 A3098, A338 (unaffected length). The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 08 February 2021 and the closures will be required as follows; Phase one:- 08 February 2021 between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 until 10 February 2021. Phase two:- 10 February 2021 between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 until 11 February 2021. Phase three:- 11 February 2021 between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 until 13 February 2021. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to makes Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) A338 (Part), Downton; from its junction with Batten Road to its junction with Warrens Lane to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out Carriageway resurfacing and associated works. Alternative route: via A338 (unaffected length) - A31 - A350 - A354 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 05 March 2021 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 until 11 March 2021. B) Southampton Road (Part), Salisbury; from its junction with A36 Southampton Road for a distance of approximately 120 metres in a northerly direction to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out Carriageway resurfacing and associated works. No alternative route is available; access will be maintained for residents and businesses. This Order will come into operation on 01 March 2021 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 until 04 March 2021, and then again on the 04 March 2021 the closure will be required until 05 March 2021. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. Alternative route: via Cigant Street (unaffected length) - C316 - Rookery Lane and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 12 February 2021 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for one day.
