CROYDON COUNCIL PROPOSED RESTRICTED PARKING ZONE -DITCHES LANE, COULSDON The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Loading and Waiting) and (Free Parking Places) (No. 1) Order 2021 The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (No.1) Order 2021
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council, on 01 February 2021 made the above Traffic Orders under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be:

(a) to introduce a restricted parking zone operating "at any time" in Ditches Lane between its junction with Downs Road and the southern boundary of Farthing Downs Car Park. The restricted parking zone would be sign-posted at either end to indicate that waiting is prohibited "at any time" but would not require yellow line markings, which are considered too visually intrusive on this narrow lane;

(b) To update the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders so as to accurately represent the new arrangements as they exist on site.

3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 05 February 2021, and of all associated Orders can be inspected by appointment from 9am to 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, at the "Access Croydon" Facility, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA.

4. Alternatively, copies of the Orders can be requested via email or post from the Parking Design Team. Email:

5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS
ADDINGTON VILLAGE ROAD, CROYDON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate Thames Water works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Addington Village Road, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, Addington Village Road will be closed at its north-eastern extremity.

3. The Order will come into operation on 22 February 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 7 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

4. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

LOWER ADDISCOMBE ROAD, CROYDON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate tram track improvement works, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Lower Addiscombe Road, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place,

(a) no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Lower Addiscombe Road, between its junctions with Bingham Road and Colworth;

(b) introduce any other traffic management measures as required to facilitate the tram track improvement works.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via local streets as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 01 April 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 8 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

NURSERY ROAD & GRANGE ROAD, THORNTON HEATH
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & PARKING
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to exchange a district meter they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements and parking in Nursery Road and Grange Road, Thornton Heath.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

a) Nursery Road will be closed at its junction with High Street, Thornton Heath;

b) Grange Road will be closed at its junction with High Street, Thornton Heath;

c) Any other traffic management measures required to facilitate the works, including parking suspensions, will be introduced as necessary.

3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative routes for traffic will be as detailed below and appropriately signed.

a) Nursery Road
Diversion East
Via High Street, Whitehorse Road and Zion Place.
Diversion West
Via High Street and Gillet Road.

b)
Grange Road
Local Diversion
Via Grange Road, Ross Road and Ladbrook Road.
HGV Diversion South
Via South Norwood Hill and Whitehorse Lane.
HGV Diversion North
Via Beulah Hill, Streatham Common North, Streatham High Road, Brigstock Road and High Street.

4. The Order will come into operation on 08 February 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

THE WEND, COULDSON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to install a new gas connection, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit traffic movements in The Wend, Coulsdon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place The Wend will be closed between its junction with Field End and a point approximately 10 metres south­west of that junction

3. During the works the diversion route for vehicular traffic will be via The Grove, The Avenue and Woodcote Grove Road and vice versa, as appropriately signed. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

4. The Order will come into operation on 08 February 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 16 February 2021. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CLIFTON ROAD, SOUTH NORWOOD
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works to install a new gas service, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking in Clifton Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, parking in Clifton Road will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time" on both sides of the road from a point 15 metres north-west of the common boundary of Nos. 13a and 15 Clifton Road to a point 15 metres south-east of the common boundary of Nos. 13a and 13 Clifton Road.

3. The Order will come into operation on 22 February 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 02 March 2021. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to install a new water service connection they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic movements in Cranbourne Close.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Cranbourne Close will be closed at its junction with Pollards Hill South.

3. During the closure limited access for residents will be maintained.

4. The Order will come into operation on 19 February 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to install new water and sewerage connections they intend to make an Order

the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic movements in Scarbrook Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Scarbrook Road will be closed between its junctions with Wandle Road and Mann Close.

3. During the closure the alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Charles Street and Church Road, as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 19 February 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within 15 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
