Oakland Way (D2317) Ewell Temporary Prohibition ol Traffic Order 2021
On 27 January 2021 Surrey County Council ("The Council") Made the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act ("The Act") 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Oakland Way (D2317) Ewell. The alternative route will be via Lakehurst Road; Willow Way; and Pams Way or this same route in reverse. The Order is required to allow footway reconstruction and/ or highways works to be carried out by, or on behalf of Surrey County Council within the length of road described in this notice. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 14 weeks between the hours of 8am and 6pm within the 18 month period of operation of the Temporary Order that commences on 09 February 2021. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for the emergency services, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access for residents will be maintained only for access to those properties within the closure. All other traffic will be required to follow the signed diversion route. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time, under Section 3 of The Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24 hour period.
Long Grove Road (02267) Epsom Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2021
On 03 February 2021 Surrey County Council ("The Council") Made the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act ("The Act") 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Long Grove Road (D2267) Epsom as extends from its junction with (B284) Hook Road to its junction with (D2283) Marston Road. The alternative route will be via Long Grove Road; Brettgrave; and Hook Road or this same route in reverse. The Order is required to facilitate gas mains replacement works to be carried out by, or on behalf of SGN within the length of road described in this notice. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 7 weeks between the hours of 7.30am and 6pm within the 12 month period of operation of the Temporary Order that commences on 13 February 2021. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed, Access for pedestrians, and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access for residents, the emergency vehicles and all other traffic will be maintained via the signed diversion route
Mill Road (C197) Epsom and Bridge Road (B288) Epsom Temporary Traffic Management Order 2021
On 03 February 2021 Surrey County Council ("The Council") Made the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act ("The Act") 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily -(a) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of the nearside lane of Mill Road (C197) Epsom as extends from its junction with the access to the property known as "Cleves Court" to its northernmost junction with (B288) Bridge Road; (b) prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading and unloading at any time on both sides of that length of Mill Road (C197) Epsom as extends from its junction with the access to the property known as "Cleves Court" to its junctions with (B288) Bridge Road; (c) prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading and unloading at any time on ,both sides of that length of Bridge Road (B288) Epsom as
extends from a point in line with the southern boundary No. 11, Bridge Road to a point in line with the northern boundary of No.3, Bridge Road; (d) suspend "THE SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS IN EPSOM AND EWELL) (REVOCATION AND CONSOLIDATION OF WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION) ORDER 2018" only insofar as it relates to that length of Mill Road as specified in sub-paragraph (b) and only insofar as it relates to that length of Bridge Road as specified in sub-paragraph (c).This Order is required to allow new electrical connection works to be carried out by, or on behalf of ALS Civil Engineers Ltd within the length of road described in subparagraph (a) of this notice. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 2 weeks between the hours of 8am and 6pm within the 12 month period of operation of this Order that commences on 09 February 2021. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary restrictions, which are anticipated to be in force 24 hours per day, and the suspension of the Order will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed and to the extent indicated by those traffic signs. For sub-paragraph (a) above: Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. No sole access is affected. Access for the emergency services and all other traffic will be via the signed diversion route. Alternative Route ¦ (C197) Mill Road (Offside Lane); and (B288) Bridge Road. For sub-paragraphs (b) and (c) above: Exemptions will apply for vehicles when waiting because they are required by law to stop, are obliged to stop in order to prevent an accident or are prevented from proceeding because of circumstances outside the drivers control and in respect of anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or of a civil enforcement officer when the temporary restrictions are in force.
D2202 Woodcote Road, Epsom Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2021
On 03 February 2021 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of D2202 Woodcote Road, Epsom that extends from its junction with A24 Dorking Road and A24 South Street to its junction with Woodcote Close. This Traffic Order is required to enable SGN to carry out gas mains replacement and/or maintenance works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 8am and 4pm, within 2 weeks of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 13 February 2021. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure which is anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians, cyclists, equestrians and to residences on the affected length of D2202 Woodcote Road, will be maintained at all times. Access for emergency vehicles, local residents and businesses will be via the signed vehicular diversion route which will be Dorking Road, Woodcote Side, Woodcote Green Road and Woodcote Road.
