PUBLIC NOTICE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
THE LONDON BOROUGH OF CROYDON ACTING IN ITS CAPACITY AS A LOCAL HIGHWAY AUTHORITY hereby gives notice of an Order made under section 247 of the above Act entitled Hartley Downs, authorising the stopping up of part of Stoats Nest Road to enable the development described in the schedule to this Notice to carried out in accordance with planning permission granted to Mr. Nathen Harding, 28 Inwood Avenue, Coulsdon CR5 1LN on 5 October 2020 planning reference 19/00126FUL.
COPIES OF THE DRAFT ORDER AND RELEVANT PLANS are available for inspection at all reasonable hours at the Council Access Croydon Reception Desk, Ground Floor, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1EA in the six weeks commencing Thursday 28 January 2021 and may be obtained free of charge from the London Borough of Croydon (quoting reference LBC/SU/STOATS NEST ROAD_001) at the address stated above or by email at

ANY PERSON aggrieved by or desiring to question the validity of or any provision within the Order, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement or regulation made have not been complied with, may within six weeks of 28 January 2021 to apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision included therein. DESCRIPTION OF DEVELOPMENT Erection of 2 storey detached dwelling house with new vehicular access off Coulsdon Road and parking area with turntable at land at junction between Hartely Down and Coulsdon Road Coulsdon.
DESCRIPTION OF HIGHWAY TO BE STOPPED UP The highway to be stopped up is in the London Borough of Croydon, is an irregular section of highway shown line hatched in black on drawing reference LBC/SU/STOATS NEST ROAD/001 and is a section of grass verge highway located on the eastern footway of Stoats Nest Road approximately opposite No 2.

CROYDON COUNCIL PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF THE AREA OF LION GREEN ROAD CAR PARK, COULSDON

The Croydon (Off Street Parking Places) (No.V1) Traffic Order 20-
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council propose to make Traffic Order under Sections 32, 35, 124 of, and Parts I to IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Order would be to amend the area of the Lion Green Road off-street car park as described In the Schedule to this Notice.

3. Copies of the proposed Order and all related documents can be inspected by appointment until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Order was made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Order, during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at the Enquiry Counter, "Access Croydon" Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA. 5. The Order is intended amend the area of the Lion Green Road car park to accommodate a new housing development by Brick by Brick on part of the site.

SCHEDULE - AMENDED AREA OF CAR PARK
Lion Green Road, Coulsdon (Long stay car park)
means the area of land used as a parking place bounded on the north­east side by Lion Green Road, on the north-west side by the south-eastern boundaries of Nos. 1 and 2 Well Cottages, Fourth Drive, the Scout Hall, Fourth Drive and the Post Office at No. 21 Lion Green Road, on the south­west side by Smitham Primary School and on the south-east side by the north-western boundary of the Brick by Brick housing development, Lion Green Road.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984 SECTION 14. AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PARKING & PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC PARCHMORE ROAD. THORNTON HEATH

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to install new gas services they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking and pedestrian traffic in Parchmore Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

a) Parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time on both sides of Parchmore Road between a point 15 metres north-west of the common boundary of Nos. 79 and 81 Parchmore Road and a point 15 metres south-east of the south­eastern boundary of No. 77 Parchmore Road;

b) The south-western footway of Parchmore Road will be closed outside No. 77 Parchmore Road and pedestrians will be diverted into a walkway in the carriageway.

3. The Order will come into operation on the 30 January 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out over two weekends (30 and 31 January and 06 and 07 February 2021). However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) A vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS
PARK ROAD. SOUTH NORWOOD
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate telecoms works they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Park Road, South Norwood.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

a) Park Road will be closed southbound at its junction with Whitehorse Lane,

b) Vehicles proceeding northbound in Park Road will be prohibited from turning right into Whitehorse Lane.

3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative routes for traffic will be via Whitehorse Lane, South Norwood Hill and Selhurst Road or via Whitehorse Lane, Whitehorse Road, St James Road, Hogarth Crescent, Whitehorse Road, Northcote Road and Selhurst Road, as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 01 February 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out with five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

YORK ROAD. CROYDON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to exchange a district meter on behalf of Thames Water, they have made Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit traffic and parking in York Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

a) York Road will be closed to vehicular traffic between the junction with Canterbury Road and the common boundary of No. 52 Canterbury Road and No. 1 York Road;

b) Parking in York Road will be suspended as necessary and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time in order to facilitate the works.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative routes for diverted traffic will be via Canterbury Road, Wortley Road, Stanley Road and York Road, or via York Road, Stanley Road, London Road and Canterbury Road, as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 01 February 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within four days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS

HIGH STREET. SOUTH NORWOOD
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to remove an advertising board they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic movements in High Street, South Norwood.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place both the carriageway and the south-eastern footway of High Street, South Norwood will be closed between the common boundaries of Nos. 54a and 55 High Street South Norwood and a point opposite the north-eastern boundary of Harris Academy, South Norwood.

3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative routes for vehicular traffic will be as detailed below and appropriately signed. Pedestrians will be diverted to the opposite footway.

a) Clockwise diversion - via South Norwood Hill, Church Street, Westow Street, Westow Hill, Anerley Road, Elmers End Road, Long Lane and Spring Lane.

b) Anti-clockwise diversion - via Anerley Road, Church Road and South Norwood Hill.

4. The Order will come into operation on 12 February 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed over three nights between 11pm and 5am on 12 February, 22 February, and 01 March 2021. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

KYNASTON CRESCENT. THORNTON HEATH
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate telecoms works to install a new fibre connection, they propose to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit parking in Kynaston Crescent, Thornton Heath.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will be introduced, operating "at any time" in Kynaston Crescent outside Nos. 19 to 49 and Nos. 8 to 32 Kynaston Crescent.

3. The Order will come into operation on the 16 February 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within one day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

4. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. The prohibition will not apply to any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works, to any vehicle used for police, ambulance or fire brigade purposes, or to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate telecoms works they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Northbrook Road, Croydon and Saxon Road, South Norwood.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

a) Northbrook Road will be closed at its junction with Whitehorse Road;

b) Saxon Road will be closed at its junction with Whitehorse Road.

3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative routes for traffic will be as detailed below and appropriately signed.

i) Northbrook Road - via Pawson's Road, Mayo Road and Princess Road.

ii) Saxon Road - via The Crescent, Selhurst Road, and Dagnall Park.

4. The Order will come into operation on 15 February 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out with three days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
