Temporary Parking Suspension of Barrack Road, Weymouth
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from parking along BARRACK ROAD, WEYMOUTH at either side of CEFAS as indicated by signs on site. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 25 January 2021 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 12 February 2021. This Order will enable SGN, safe access to carry out gas mains replacement.

The Borough of Weymouth and Portland (Waiting Restrictions) (Consolidation) Order 2011 (as amended) (Amendment No., Order 202'), Various Roads, Weymouth -Revocation of Disabled Parking Bays
Dorset Council proposes to make an Amendment Order to 'The Borough of Weymouth and Portland (Waiting Restrictions) (Consolidation) Order 2011' under Section 124(1)(d) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ('the Act of 1984') and Part 6 of the Traffic Management Act 2004 and of The Local Authorities' Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996 and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with statutory requirement and in compliance with the 1996 Regulations. The effect of this proposed order is to revoke disabled parking bays at the following locations:
- Kingfisher Close, Weymouth
- Argyle Road, Weymouth
-William Avenue, Weymouth
- Avenue Road, Weymouth
- Dundee Road, Weymouth
- The Finches, Weymouth

Notice of Making a Public Path Diversion and
Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order
Town and Country Planning Act 1990, Section 257 Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, Section 53A(2)
Dorset Council (Part of Bridleway 7, Poxwell) Public Path Diversion Order 2021
The above order was made on 8 January 2021, under section 257 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and section S3A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981.
The effect of the order will be to divert part of Bridleway 7 in the parish of Poxwell as shown on the order map as follows:
From the current route:
That length and the whole width of Bridleway 7, Poxwell, from its junction with Bridleway 6 at SY 74092 84085, in a north-northwesterly direction for 112 metres, to rejoin the unaffected part of Bridleway 7 at SY 74072 84196. (No recorded width).
To a new route:
A length of public bridleway with a crushed stone/concrete surface running from its junction with Bridleway 6 at SY 74103 84089, in a north-easterly direction for 49 metres to SY 74128 84129, then continuing in a north-westerly turning northerly direction for 54 metres to SY 74112 84179, then continuing with a concrete surface in a west-north-westerly direction for 19 metres to SY 74096 84186, then continuing with a tarmac surface in a west-north-westerly direction for 26 metres, to rejoin the unaffected part of Bridleway 7 at SY 74072 84196. Width: 3 metres.
