BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL

The Council intends to make The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Footpaths Nos. 22 and 23, Dorney) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2021 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath No. 22, Dorney, from Oak Stubbs Lane to Marsh Lane, and in that length of Public Footpath No. 23, Dorney, from Glebe Close to Old Marsh Lane, a distance of approximately 160 metres. The closures are required in the interests of public safety whilst works to replace the existing footpaths take place as part of the M4 J3 to J12 smart motorway upgrade scheme and it is anticipated that the works will commence on 22 January 2021 and will take approximately three and a half months to complete. The alternative route for pedestrians affected by the closure of Public Footpath No. 22, Dorney will be via Marsh Lane, Oak Stubbs Lane and vice versa. The alternative route for pedestrians affected by the closure of Public Footpath No. 23, Dorney will be via Glebe Close, Marsh Lane, Old Marsh Lane and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into operation on 22 January 2021, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.

The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (High Street, Iver) (Temporary Prohibition of Waiting) Order, 2020, which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from waiting in High Street, which commences at the junction of Grange Way for approximately 60m either side. The restriction is required to ensure that Cadent Gas new connection works take place commencing on 25-29 January 2021. The proposed Order will come into operation on 25 January 2021 as signed, with a maximum duration of 18 months. Dated 15 January 2021
