LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
NELSON GROVE ROAD, SOUTH WIMBLEDON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2021

1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate the installation of new water service connections and associated works in Nelson Grove Road, South Wimbledon, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the works no person will:-

(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in Nelson Grove Road, South Wimbledon, between its junction with Pincott Road and its junction with Doel Close; or

(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the length of Nelson Grove Road specified in sub-paragraph (a) above; or

(c) enter or proceed in the southern footway of the length of Nelson Grovel Road specified in sub-paragraph (a) above.

3. Any designated parking place situated in the length of Nelson Grove Road specified in paragraph 2 above will be suspended for the duration of the works in that length of road.

4. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Nothing in the Order will apply: -

(a) to any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or

(d) so as to prevent access to premises in or adjacent to the length of road specified in Article 2 above, insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the works.

6. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed by way of Pincott Road, High Path and Abbey Road or vice-versa, or by way of Merantun Way, Christehurch Road, Priory Road and Merton High Street or vice^versa.

7. Pedestrians affected by the closure of the footway should proceed using the footway opposite.

3. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
9. The Order will come into force on Monday 18th January 2021 and it is expected that the works will be completed within 3 months. However, the Order will remain in force for a period of 6 months should further works be required.

FREE PARKING PLACES IN ELM GARDENS AND WALSINGHAM ROAD
THE MERTON (FREE PARKING PLACES) (NO. 1) ORDER 2021
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton, on 6 January 2021, made the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Merton (Free Parking Places) (No.1) Order 2021 will be to introduce the free partial footway parking places specified in Schedules 1 and 2 to this notice which will operate at any time throughout the week and specify that:

(a) the parking places may be used, subject to the provisions of the Order, for the leaving during the permitted hours of such vehicles as are passenger vehicles, goods vehicles, invalid carriages or motor cycles; and

(b) there will be no charge for parking in the parking places.

3. A copy of the Order, which will come into force on 18 January 2021, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, including a plan specifying the lengths of road affected by the Order, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX. The documents have also been made available for inspection at

https://www.merton.gov.uk/

streets-parking-transport/traffic-management/consultations. Alternatively, those without internet access can receive a copy of the documents by phoning 020 8274 4901 or by sending a request to us by post to:- the Environment and Regeneration Department at the Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX. The letter of request should be prominently marked with the title of the Order.

4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof, or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

Partial Footway Parking Places
1. WALSINGHAM ROAD, the north-east side, from a point 7 metres south­east of the south-eastern kerb-line of Caesar's Walk, south-eastward for a distance of 5 metres;

2. WALSINGHAM ROAD, the north-east side, from a point 1 metre south-east of the common boundary of No. 37 Caesar's Walk and No.1 Walsingham Road north-eastward for a distance of 14.6 metres.

SCHEDULE 2
Partial Footway Parking Places
1. ELM GARDENS, the north-east side, from a point 3.1 metres north-west of the eastern boundary of No. 37 Elms Gardens north-westward for a distance of 11 metres.
2. ELM GARDENS, the south-west side, from a point 9.3 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerb-line of Sherwood Park Road south-eastward for a distance of 5.5 metres.

3. ELM GARDENS, the south-west side, from a point 16.8 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerb-line of Sherwood Park Road south-eastward for a distance of 10.5 metres.

4. ELM GARDENS, the south-west side, from a point 0.7 metre south-east of the common boundary of Nos. 28 and 30 Elm Gardens south-eastward for a distance of 10 metres.

5. ELM GARDENS, the south-west side, from a point 2.1 metres east of the rear west boundary of No. 113 Chestnut Grove eastward for a distance of 10 metres.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
STUART ROAD, WIMBLEDON PARK (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2021

1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate water valve maintenance and associated works in Stuart Road, Wimbledon Park, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the works no person will cause or permit any vehicle to:-

(a) enter or proceed in Stuart Road, from its junction with Durnsford Road westward for a distance of 75 metres; or

(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the length of Stuart Road specified in sub-paragraph (a) above.

3. Any designated parking place situated in the length of Stuart Road specified in paragraph 2 above will be suspended for the duration of the works in that length of road.

4. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or

(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or length of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

6. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed by way of Durnsford Road, Ashen Grove and Melrose Avenue or vice-versa.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

8. The Order will come into force on Friday 22nd January 2021 and it is expected that the works will be completed within 1 day. However, the Order will remain in force for a period of 6 months should further works be required.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
(HAMMOND AVENUE, MITCHAM
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2021

1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate new water service connection and ancillary works in Hammond Avenue, Mitcham, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the works no person would cause or permit any vehicle to:-

(a) enter or proceed in Hammond Avenue, Mitcham, between the common boundary of Nos. 4 and 6 Hammond Avenue and a point 5 metres south­east of the common boundary of Nos. 6 and 8 Hammond Avenue;

(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the length of Hammond Avenue specified in sub-paragraph (a) above.

3. Any designated parking place situated in the length of Hammond Avenue specified in paragraph 2 above would be suspended for the duration of the works in that length of road.

4. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or

(d) any person requiring vehicular access to the properties south-east of No. 6 Hammond Avenue, insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

6. No diversion route is applicable as Hammond Avenue is a cul-de-sac.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

8. The Order would come into operation on Monday 1 st February 2021 and remain in force for 12 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
MURRAY ROAD, SW19 (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2021

1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate construction and development works at No. 49 Murray Road, SW19, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the works, no person would cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in:-

(a) Murray Road, the south-west side, between common boundary of Nos. 47 and 49 Murray Road and the common boundary of Nos. 49 and 51 Murray Road; and

(b) Murray Road, the north-east side, between a point 2 metres north-west of a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 47 and 49 Murray Road and a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 49 and 51 Murray Road.

3. Any designated parking place situated in the lengths of road specified in paragraph 2 above would be suspended for the duration of the works.

4. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or for the loading or unloading of construction delivery vehicles; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

7. The Order would come into operation on Wednesday 27th January 2021 and would remain in force for 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
GROVE ROAD, MITCHAM AND VARIOUS SIDE ROADS
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2021

1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate the construction of raised tables and lining works in Bennetts Close, Bolstead Road, Grove Road, Meopham Road and Oakleigh Way they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said roads.

2. During the works, no person would cause or permit any vehicle to enter into, proceed in or wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the roads or lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this notice.

3. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Vehicular traffic affected by the closures should proceed by way of one or more of the following roads:- Bolstead Road, Grove Road, Meopham Road, Oakleigh Way, Warminster Way and Woodstock Way.

5. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or

(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited roads or lengths of roads insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

7. The Order would come into operation on Monday 25th January 2021 and it is anticipated that the works would be completed within 1 month. However, the Order would remain in force until 24th January 2022 should further works be required.

SCHEDULE

1. Bennetts Close, from its junction with Grove Road to its junction with Lonesome Way.

2. Bolstead Road, from its junction with Grove Road northward for a distance of 15 metres.

3. Grove Road:-

(a) from a point 10 metres southwest of its junction with Meopham Road, north-eastward to a point 10 metres north-east of its junction with Meopham Road; or

(b) from a point 20 metres south-west of its junction with Oakleigh Way to a point 20 metres east of its junction with Oakleigh Way.

4. Meopham Road, from its junction with Grove Road, south-eastward for a distance of 15 metres.

5. Oakleigh Way, from its junction with Grove Road northward for a distance of 20 metres.
