Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U81002, Whitecross Road Service Road (Even Nos 210 234), Hereford, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U81002, Whitecross Road Service Road (Even Nos 210 234), Hereford, from the junction of Yazor Road to the junction of Bishopstone Road. Grid Ref: 349343/240674. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Whitecross Road onto Yazor Road, onto Trinity Road, onto Bishopstone Road and vice versa. The said closure is required due to gas mains replacement works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 25th of January 2021 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 19 days.
