Notice of Application for the Variation of a Premises Licence Take notice that on 18th August 2014 We Thomas Tunstall and Matthew Tunstall of The Duchess, Stonebow House, The Stonebow, York YO1 7NP made application to the City of York Council for the variation of a Premises Licence at the following premises The Duchess, Stonebow House, The Stonebow, York YO1 7NP. The Licensing Application Register can be viewed by prior arrangement with City of York Council Licensing Section (tel: 01904 552512) at Hazel Court, EcoDepot, James Street, York YO10 3DS between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Representations to this application can be made in writing by a responsible authority or any other person to City of York Council Licensing Services, Hazel Court, EcoDepot, James Street, York YO10 3DS. Representations must be received by no later than 16th September 2014. Summary of Proposed Variation(s)/Conditions To vary the existing licence so that The hours for the supply of alcohol authorised by the current licence are extended from 11.00am to 10.00am and then from 2.30am to 3.30am the next day and The hours for the remaining licensable activities authorised by the current licence, other than the provision of live music, are extended from 11.00am to 10.00am and then from 3.00am to 4.00am the next day and The opening hours of the premises subject to the licence are extended from11.00am to 10.00am and then from 3.30am to 4.00am the next day and There is facility for showing films from 10.00am to 4.00am the next day The hours for provision of live music are extended from 11.00am to 10.00am The requirement to refuse customers entry to the venue after 1.30am is altered to 2.30am. For the purposes of clarity it is confirmed that there are no proposed changes to the finishing time for the provision of live music. It is further confirmed that the non-standard timings for all events are to remain as on the existing licence. It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application for the variation of a premises licence or club premises certificate. A person guilty of such an offence is liable to a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale.
