Community Consultation Event - St Joseph's Convent, York

Vita Student is holding a public exhibition to unveil its draft proposals for the development of a new student residence at the former St Joseph's Convent, Lawrence Street, York. The exhibition will be an informal, open door event and will take place on: Thursday 4th September 2014 between 2:00pm - 8:00pm at Tang Hall Working Men's Club, 25 Hull Road, York, YO10 3JL. Vita Student is inviting local residents to view and comment on the initial draft proposals prior to the submission of a formal planning application to City of York Council. Available at the consultation event will be information on the existing convent buildings, the proposals for their conversion and also for new development within the grounds of the complex. Members of the development and management team will be available throughout the day to answer any questions and following the event the full consultation display will be available to view online at lawrencestreet.vitastudent.com. Any comments made by 18 September 2014 will be considered prior to the formal scheme being drawn up and a Detailed Planning Application lodged with City of York Council.
