Sellafield Limited Notice of Application for Hazardous Substances Consent The Planning (Hazardous Substances) Act 1990 The Planning (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2015 The Planning (Hazardous Substances) (Amendment) Regulations 2017 Notice of Application for Hazardous Substances Consent (To comply with Regulation 6, Paragraph 1a) I give notice that Sellafield Limited is applying to Copeland Borough Council for a variation to an existing hazardous substances consent - to hold and carry out preparations of toxic and oxidising substances at Sellafield, Seascale, Cumbria, CA20 1PG. For the purposes of this application, the hazardous substances authority which will decide on whether, or not to grant consent and, if to grant, decide on what conditions to grant (and from which relevant information can be obtained) is Copeland Borough Council. Members of the public may inspect a copy of the application via Copeland Borough Council`s website www.copeland.gov.uk/planning/application-search-terms from 8th January 2021.
