Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all users: Footpath 5 (Part), Bulford; from its junction with A3028 Double Hedges to the junction with Messines Road to enable Construction of Combined Cycleway/Footpath.
Footpath 5 (Part), Bulford;
Alternative routes: via Messines Road - Passchendaele Road - Cambrai Road - Churchill Avenue - Salisbury Road - A3028 Double Hedges and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 07 December 2020 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required until 08 February 2021. The Order will have a maximum duration of six months. (Prohibition of Driving) Order 2020 Notice is hereby given that on 24 November 2020 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is as follows: Order 1 - To introduce a prohibition of right hand turn from C57 Camp Hill onto A360 Devizes Road. Order 2 -To introduce a prohibition of driving to all motor vehicles on C57 The Avenue - from its former junction with A360 Devizes Road for a distance of 90 metres in a south westerly direction. Notice is hereby given that on 24 November 2020 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to revoke the County of Wiltshire (Various Roads, Chilmark) (30mph Speed Limit) Order 1989 and re-enact it, in part, in the above Order 2 and to introduce a 20mph speed limit on the following lengths of roads: Barberry (UC 963201), Becketts Lane (C276), Frog Lane (UC 963202), Hops Close (Byway 8A), Kents Hill (Byway 8A), Ridgeway (UC 963203) and The Street (C276/UC 973202) - the complete lengths, Hindon Lane (UC 963206) - from its junction with Hops Close (Byway 8A) for a distance of 46 metres in a north westerly direction; Kents Hill (C276) - from a point 120 metres south of its junction with B3089 to its junction with Hops Close (Byway 8A); Tisbury Road (C276) - from its junction with Becketts Lane to a point 162 metres south of its junction with Frog Lane. Notice is hereby given that on 24 November 2020 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is to revoke The County of Wiltshire (Various Roads, Teffont) (Restricted Roads) Order 1997 and re-enact it, in part, in the above Order 2 the effect of which will be as follows: a) To introduce a 20mph speed limit on Cul de Sac leading to Bridleway 10 (UC 963201), Holt Lane (UC 983101) and Long Meadow (UC 983101) - the complete lengths; Teffont Evias (UC 963206) - from its junction with B3089 for a distance of 658 metres in a southerly direction; Teffont Magna (C277) - from its junction with B3089 for a distance of 835 metres in a northerly direction; b) To introduce national speed limit on Teffont Evias (UC 963206) -from a point 658 metres south of its junction with B3089 for a distance of 57 metres. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Semley Common (Part), Sedgehill and Semley; from its junction with Tokes Lane to its junction with C43 to enable Tarmac to carry out carriageway resurfacing, road markings and adjustment of iron works. Alternative route: via C43 - C296 - Tokes Lane and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order which previously came into operation on 16 July 2020 will now recommence on 11 December 2020 and the closure will be required week days between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00 until 14 December 2020. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order has a maximum duration of 18 months. Town and Country Planning Act 1990 Public Inquiry to be held as a Virtual Event Opening on 10am 12 January 2021 Reason for Inquiry
Appeal by David Cooper against an enforcement notice served by Wiltshire Council relation to land at The Land at Rambling Rose, off Southampton Road, Clarendon, Salisbury. The matters which are alleged to constitute a breach of planning control are Without planning permission, the material change of use of Land from agriculture to a mixed use for agriculture and residential purposes.
